might be able to make it on sat for cars and coffee... i work in the pm. same perkins? so we can roll together like we usually do?

 

it does sound nice. very similar to my B&B test pipe. cel does not effect performance in this case. you will get those flames on backfire madeulook!

 

Some people have gotten away with a midpipe and no CEL. Some people say if you can make your o2 sensor further away from the exhaust, it can reduce the chances of a CEL.

I put the RB on my last RX8 and the stock wire of the o2 sensor didn't reach the bung of the RB. That was a 2004, but I would guess it hasn't changed. You will need to figure out how to get it to reach or just live with the CEL (I left my o2 off which for sure gives a CEL).

I got there at 8:25 and the japanese car area was already full. I did park in the grass and walk around for a while. Didn't see anyone by the two RX-8s that got in before I got there.

Three of us go in.. Was yours the one with bronze rims? cause we saw one up on the hill. It was FULL. We tend to want to get there 7:45, maybe earlier.

 

Yes, mine is the one with bronze wheels. I don't have much on it, but going for function first. I have KW3s, track pads and R-Compounds as well as a track alignment to go to Brainerd in May and Road America in Aug. Next I want to put screens over my oil coolers. I had a high HP car at Brainerd kick up all kinds of debris at my last car - broke both fogs. Needless to say I need to protect those oil coolers.

Right as me and my buddy were pulling in everybody was dipping out. Yea, it was crazy packed. The damn cops were parked right down the block so didn't get to see too many cars rip on it. A stupid kid in a srt-4 decided to light up the tired in 1st and 2nd gear prompting the undercover cop to chase after him. I guess next time we'll have to get there quite a bit earlier.

 

we met at 730.. left at 745 and that might have been not early enough... almost need to be there AT 730.

In case any of you guys like to drive a little bit too fast...there is a new state trooper car that hangs out in the west metro, its a bright red charger with white racing stripes along the bottom of the doors...don't ask me how I know this...

 

I saw that charger have someone pulled over on 494 today in the Minnetonka area. I was also playing around with a black RX8 with the factory lip kit while on my bike in the same area. I think mine was faster

Is it the racing beat catback? it will fit with AP midpipe right?
