Yeah, got screwed this week. Two 12-hour shifts in a row.

 

OK, it's official the Erin won't be coming on Saturday she will more then likely get sick since she can't stand being in a car for more then 15 min. since getting pregnant I am not sure if I want to wake up at 4:30 am on Saturday and make the drive to Autobahn or Drive to the Chicago area on Friday night and crash there? If anyone has an extra bed, couch or floor space that I can occupy that would be great, I'll even throw in dinner and a six pack of what you desire. PM me

 

I love paintball. I have only gone twice, so I am still not good, but it is a lot of fun.

Are there still any spots left? And are you guys meeting up anywhere beforehand? I think I'm starting to come down with something, so I don't know if I'll be able to come in to work or not, hehe.

I went. It was something to see, there were a ton of cars there and it was fun to go down 94 to IL with about 100 other great looking machines. RX-8 turnout was low, only one other besides myself and he didn't hang around long. Overall good time.

I'm going to try to make it down this Saturday for the track day but I'm not planning on going out on the track just coming to cheer you guys on and check out your cars.

 

I'm planning on trying to make it to the track day for a bit in the afternoon to spectate. Jen is planning on coming too. My new spoiler should be installed by then, so i should be able to get there much faster

 

Looks like Charles R. Hill will be stopping by the Chicago area next monday night. I had told him if he was stopping in I'd try to meet up with him. Anyone interested in a meet somewhere Monday night? I'm guessing somewhere off I-80 - I believe that is the route he is planning on taking.

It the Autobahn going to be charging the same $125 for a tow off the track in the event your car becomes disabled as they were at the AMS day I was at earlier this year?

Yea, they need money to build their million dollar empire of condos and ruin that track. It was in that article in the paper. Same reason they charge $10 per spectator when there aren't all that many places to spectate

 

I think I'll make it down there this weekend as long as I can get my homework done before saturday.
