Unfortunately I got called into work today, so I wasn't able to make the track day. Hope you all had a blast!

Yea it was good because you we were able to really learn the line good. We just couldn't go ***** out due to all the damn rain How was the dinner ?

 

The dinner wasn't bad. Of course I only paid 10 bucks as a spectator

A few of us went to the irish pub in downtown plainfield afterwards. A good time was had by all.

No, they weren't allowing ride alongs But it was my first time at a track day, so it was good just to watch and check things out.

 

The next one is a month from now, maybe then.

Anyone interested in changing the monthly meet in august to a lake front beach? I was looking at 31st street beach this afternoon.

It looked like it had pretty decent parking and a good size park area that we would be able to grill some food, etc. etc. Its close to downtown but far enough out of the loop it shouldn't be terribly congested and have parking issues.

Any locals to that area have any info on the environment? Comments?Ideas??
