Congrats, Chet! I remember talking to you at the Fuddruckers meet about how you wanted to join the Army.

As far as not having to worry about money, have you looked at the E-1 and E-2 payscales? I wouldn't get your hopes up on that quite yet...

yea, its only $1200 a month, but look at it this way. I dont have to pay for food, clothes, housing, or anything other than my loan for my car. so its basically $1200 that all gets pocketed. thats just E-1. i will be a E-2 when i go back in. i believe E-2 is $1400

Hey I'm from Chicago - Hyde Park to be specific but I go downtown a lot.

I own a 2006 Shinka in Galaxy Gray. Just got it - I wouldn't be surprised to be one of the youngest people in the windy city to own one.
