I have no idea how many heat cycles they have seen but they look like they were only scrubbed in. Like 75% or better I would guess. I got them from PhilsTireService at the end of last season, I just don't think they are going to keep until NEXT year when I get the car out on the track. $100 and come pick them up? I know this stuff won't fit in the toyota

not terrible.
I used a jack.
The biggest problem I had was the mess I made because I forgot to drain the fluid before I started.
Of course a lift and air tools would have made the job easier but its managable on the ground.

I don't mind gear oil smell until it's burnt gear oil and the stuff that was in there was basically brand new.
The terrible part was getting my hair in the puddle while wrangling with the tranny sitting on the ground unde the car
I had a cover on the plates that would not come off so that I could put my plate sticker. So I had to take off my bumper, to take of my plates, because the screws would just spin. Once I removed the bumper I saw the problem, and just like I thought the metal tab that the screws screwed into where rusted on to the screws. Also the plastic tabs that were part of the bumper broke when I tried unscrewing the first time, oops.... here are some pics. So I'll have to figure out what to do next year to fix that problem.

CONGRATS!!!
I will have plenty of advice for Charles today at lunch. Basically, if you go into marriage with the understanding that the woman is always right, then your marriage will be much happier and life is a lot easier. If you operate under this assumption, you have a much better shot at watching the race, game, etc.

Also, I think it was Bill Cosby that said every morning when he gets up, the first thing he does is say "I'm sorry" to his wife, because he's sure he's done something wrong. He just doesn't know what it is.
After they are married a few years, she will be sending him back to the basement. That's where I am most of the time now. But apparently some who have seen my basement say that's not such a bad thing...

Advice for Charles,
The only way you will get in the last word, during an argument, is to say "Yes Dear". Then you go do whatever the hell you want anyway.
