REX's production number is 152.

I'm getting about 17.5 in and around the city, and 24-25 when cruising at a steady speed on the interstate. It seems to take the RX-8 about 30 or 40 miles of cruising before it recognizes that you are cruising, and switches to low fuel consumption mode. (I don't know the tech details. Lower compression? Leaner mix?)

14K in 9 months is pretty good if you haven't been farther than Wisconsin. You must have spent some SERIOUS time on the autocross track!!

OK so I'll be back home from July 13-20th. I'm coming back for my b-day,niece's b-day and most importantly my nephew is leaving for Iraq on the 20th. While I'm sure I'll be busy with family stuff if I get some free time I'll let you all know so maybe some of us can grab a brewsky or two. I haven't been keeping up with the Chicago events and meets so I'm not too sure if anythings going on or not.

Oh, it is just the stupidest thing ever. But hysterically funny if you have a warped sense of humor like mine. Seems some forum member, who shall remain nameless , decided to start posting lies and ended up getting caught (he did/did not have a crossfire). It got so heated that people were posting crossfire in pretty much every thread he was in. When it reached the peak of everyone throwing e-punches, some of the participants were reprimanded if they continued this silliness about crossfires.

Just one of the many threads where they got into it.

I thought it was hysterical and started instigating. The warning is a joke, but it made me laugh so hard I *HAD* to put it in my sig!

But if you want real fun, go to this thread and see some self-proclaimed "white haired RX-8 driving granny" call me a names! It's humor at it's best
