OK, I can see why you guys want to do the wacker drive cruise now. I had to go into the city for a doc appointment today (unfortunately had to miss the cruise), and we drove in a couple parking garages with the new Mazdaspeed exhaust. All I can say is... WOW! The sound is amazing!

 

You heard my Corksport. How does the MS exhaust compare?

I only do it under bridges, while driving on Lower Wacker and while stopped next to cars with big bass speakers playing Hip-Hop music.

Hard to say, Al, as I have yet to really hear it from outside the car. But I guess I would say that yours has a little more rumble on the bottom end, and mine has a little more sound on the top end. That is assuming I remember the sound of yours correctly. Guess we will have to get together soon and compare...

 

We will have to roll side-by-side with the windows down to check it out.

Anyone know what was going on Friday (today)? I realize it is the end of the month, but I don't think I have ever seen so many cops driving around. Going to work, I saw 2, going to the bears game I saw a bunch, when I drove home I counted 6 more.

Is something special going on? Or is it just the end of the month quota?

FYI!!! Mazda has contacted Enterprise Rent-A-Car to supply loaner vehicles to us RX-8 owners when we take our cars in for the most recent flash.
With the amount they may be covering for a rental most Enterprises will give you anything they have on their lots (read: nice cars/SUVs). So ask your dealer to get you an Enterprise car and get a sweet whip for a day, on Mazda!
