With the amount they may be covering for a rental most Enterprises will give you anything they have on their lots (read: nice cars/SUVs). So ask your dealer to get you an Enterprise car and get a sweet whip for a day, on Mazda!

I had a Ford Focus that was a bit stinky from Enterprise when I took my 8 in to get the exhaust, brakes, and an oil change done. Not bad for an economy car handling and acceleration wise, but I was glad to get my 8 back.

Random question: Does anyone wish that the metal flaking in the metalic paints was bigger?

I like it the way it is, very noticable when you look up close, but gives it a really nice shine in the sun.

yea i'd be afraid if it was bigger it'd look like glitter.

my dad built a bradley kit car back in the 70s ... it had actual glitter in the paint ...

my barbies loved the bling!

That metal flake paint was a big thing back in the late 60's and early 70's. I used to paint my plastic model cars with it.

Tornado Warning!

Funnel clouds were sighted in a "rotational" movement at I-88 just north of Aurora about 2 minutes ago. The storm is moving in a northeast direction up through Geneva to Carol Stream and beyond.

Warning in effect until 5:30 pm, Watch in effect until 11pm

The news hasn't hit weather.com yet, so I thought I'd give you all a heads-up if you work/live in the path.

I got an important letter from Mazda today. After opening it, it became evident it wasn't the recall letter. It was a notice that I could go in for a test drive of the CX7. Bummer

I stopped into my dealer (Wilkins Mazda) today to get a new cabin air filter. While there I asked about the recall. I'm now scheduled to take my car in tomorrow morning. The service writer said that we shouldn't expect to get a recall letter because it is a volentary recall. I say call your dealer and schedule an appointment.

Wow, I called Roto Mazda yesterday to try to get some info from them and possibly schedule the recall and the service guy said I should just wait until I get the letter. I love different dealerships.

OK, Recall has been completed. I didn't need an engine or catalytic converter. Those have been replaced enough already. Just a flash and leading spark plugs. I have only drove 4 mi. at a slow speed. Not enough miles or speed to know how the engine reacts yet. The exhaust tone seemed different.
The dealer's car porter had a smile after driving it.

Al - just got mine done yesterday - same deal - flash and plugs - haven't noticed much difference to this point...
