Hey all, new owner in chicago. How many of you live in Chicago? It might just be me, but i almost never see 8's!

Somehow, when i head out west(naper/oak brook), i see them all over!

We have garages in the city too, haha! Although, i do only have about 6 inches in front and 6 inches in back of my car when the door is down! Guess that means i'll always have to buy small-ish sporty-ish cars...poor me.

 

Yea when I lived in the city I had a 1) new car and 2) a dog. Neither of which were city-friendly. Hence my move out west. I was never rich enough back then to afford the outrageous prices of a garage.

 

Yeah, i'm lucky, i can handle the price.

It's the making sure it closes, so all the stuff isn't gone when you get back, and a homeless guy is sleeping in iside...that can be stressful!

Oh, and then having a crobar shoved under the door while jacking it off the hinges to get to a trio of expensive bikes...that's tough too!

The city, ugh! Maybe i should heat out to naper-thrill!

 

Today me cruisin around spotted 2 rotary cars, one a 1st gen rx7 and second a rx4. I caught up to them and showed thumbs up. On the lights as I was standing behind them I was looking at the rx7 and it looked wired hmmmm.. .awww its a right hand drive lol. It looked funny ashell HAHAHAHA. Although it was kool to spot.

I am @ Polk & Loomis, across from arrigo park, to be exact. I keep my 8 @ my garage @ work and drive a different company car all the time (I work for Enterprise). You will see my '91 lifted Cherokee in front of my place all the time, though.
Maybe I'll see you at Four Corners some time.

 

Just beat my $75 front license plate ticket - got it thrown out...ah traffic court...what a party...awful lot of people there whose family trees don't have any branches...

I live as close to the city as it gets Lincolnwood and I drive through the city to work. I see very few RXs in my travels. The funny thing is I was just in Connecticut for business and over two days saw about 6 or 7 of them. Up north I don't see many either. Most of the Chicago group I have met are from the West side.

 

I drive through toughy in lincolnwood alot I work over at toyota.

 

.....and I though I was the only North side owner;-)

So do you live in the area. I live there but drive out to Norridge for work, side streets the whole way. I know Toyota use to be on Lincoln and Crawford but if I'm not mistaken your off of Touhy now.

I'll keep an eye out for your car and stop by to say high if I see it.
