Last week was odd. There were a lot of people there that were just there to see the event because the heard about what was there the week before. This brought out the lawn chairs sitters and tire kickers. Most of the "rich" dudes are the most talkative and most fun to talk to there. Until recently there were no attitudes there. Times are a changing. I'd rather see a bunch of exotics, track cars, highly modded cars, and just high dollar stuff instead of a bunch of slammed civics, subarus and evos. I can see that **** in any parking lot around the city.


Sounds like wild first part of the stint Mike. No access to ebay might be good for your wallet and Robin's sanity, even if it kills you. Yes, supercharged is fun. Lots of fun actually.

For serious though. We need a meetup. I met with two Columbus 8 guys this week and had fun cruising around, but had to do it at street-legal speeds. I was promised a trek around some twisties in NKY that hasn't materialized yet... BB needs to get on that

 

I'm down for anything other then a weekday and sadly this Saturday (I work this one). May will be a little busy towards the end for me but early to mid May I'm open for plans! There's a show tomorrow I believe, dude put a flyer on my car last weekend so if you were at fuel and coffee you got one as well.

 

I'm headed to a Cars n Coffee up here this Saturday. I'd just need a couple weeks notice so I don't plan anything, and I'm going to be out of town Memorial Day weekend.

 

Damn! The time someone is going to be there I can't make it because I work! Memorial Day Weekend I may be out of state if I have off as well. Definitely Looking for something to plan, My weekends are pretty much open except for those days. I live closer to Dayton but in general I don't get out much is if some people wanted to meet up and show me around or something I'm down for that!

 

I'll be there tomorrow morning if I can get up... I just got back from west coast, and jet lag is killing me in the morning....

I saw a silver 8 about to get on RT 4 in Fairfield today near Jungle Jims! I work at Performance Toyota for those people who drive 8's around the Fairfield area WHATS UP! lol. This Saterday I will be getting my Plates so maybe Sunday I will be going for some Fuel & Coffee.....Today was my last day for my temp tag so I had to get a extension one. Damn dealership taking forever to mail stuff lol.

Also, pain in the *** to put the new temp tag on. What the dealer used to secure their temp dropped into the bumper, today was the first day I had to do something other then a oil change to the car . I had to pull the top section of the bumper to find the "nut" they used.

 

I probably was in my fuel consumption mode.

 

So after a week of driving and a lot of "testing my that my boost gauge is working," I managed to get 21mpg out of the M3's first tank. If driven sanely, i'd imagine i could easily match the 525's 23-24 combined and 25-26 highway.

 

Ah Fuz, must be nice lol. I think I'm going to make fuel and coffee Sunday if we get some forum members there......I would be going by myself this time so I don't want to be lonely .

Yeah, there is no cars and coffee at Fuel on Sundays. It's a Saturday thing. During the summer they do a motorcycle thing every other sunday though.

 

I went Sunday two weeks ago and it was a huge turnout. Was there something special that time around?

Anyone here knows how, or someone who can weld Stainless steel exhaust? I'm thinking of getting a mid pipe and adding a high flow cat. (or, possibly buy high flow cat pipe and add resonator, or something...). also at the same time, i'd like to learn how to weld as well...
