Also just a heads up I started my second job at an auto parts yard down on Kellogg Ave. we just got in an 04 Winning Blue rx8 and it's sitting on our lot waiting to be parted out. If anyone needs anything let me know and I can get a price quote for you. It was hit in the front and the airbags deployed so the front bumper is toast as well as the hood but everything under the hood looks fine, all other body panels are in good shape as well as the interior.
I never have thought, no reason to start now... You mean thinking of a BBQ/get-together?

Is it manual trans? If so is the rotor shift **** in decent shape - mine is slightly cracked and it bothers me, price for that Also if the rear seat center area pull down piece that accesses the trunk is in decent shape how much for it too? What interior color does it have? Oh goodness I see a shopping spree here, lol. Thanks for the tip on it!

fuz-- Congrats on the new baby!!

Thank you everyone for the welcome :-) Spidey, do you have wheels for sale? I would like to do an upgrade to something, but haven't quite picked what I want.

Bobby, you said the front was crushed... any possibility the drivers side foglight made it through unscathed? Mine is cracked :-( I do have a few things on the interior of mine that are showing some wear, like kytten, I am seeing a potential shopping spree lol!

My congrats to Fuz and Veronica on their new baby!

Still don't have all the stuff I need to do my suspension. Other things have taken up the money lately. Still need springs/hardware and probably going to get the Porsche 968 M030 F/R sway bars as well.

Thanks guys and girls.

There's a link with pics in the first line of my last post.

More pics will be posted there as will non-iPhone pics when I'm back to the computer.

Welcome Cindy tell us more about the 911 in your sig. I was contemplating picking up a 930 SC or a 3.2 Carerra next year, but the M3 just kinda fell into my lap. Might still be a future project though.

A few of us have moved on but still post now and then, but you'll find the current group to be helpful and a good group to be around in general. That's why us ex-owns still stick around.

Link for pics again Isabella - Minus

The 911 is a barn find that my husband and I are restoring. The carbs are currently sitting in our living room being rejetted and rebuilt. She's actually in pretty good condition, she was drivable until we took it apart :-) we hope to have her road worthy again soon! 930s are quite nice! All Porsches are a financial commitment lol. Worth every penny if you love them though.

I'm happy people still chat on here :-) anyone ever go to midohio?

I've been to mid Ohio a ton of times to watch. I've only done an HPDE at Putnam Park with the 8 last year. Next year I should have the M3 up at mid Ohio for a PCA event if all goes as planned. Really hoping to get to both tracks next year actually.

No, I was originally going to 944fest next weekend at Nelson's Ledges, which would have included an HPDE event. Although with the house and all, I made the decision to opt out this year. My dad and I are just going to go out there as spectators... I need it bad... I have been going through car withdrawal this year LOL.

Hey Cindy - I'll be at Mid Ohio next week for the Rolex. Won't be the same without the RX8 blowing flames in the GT class any longer. But the Continental series will have a bunch of Mazdas running. There's also a Mazda Corral and they give out some good stuff and had an auction for charity last year. Lots of fun.

I have a set of Enkei RP02-J 18" x 8" rims in the garage. Spotless with only one nick (since painted over) on one rim. Under 20 lbs each. I bought them off a friend and they came with a set of tires and I used them a year and put them back in the boxes. They can be had for a good price. PM me.

Here's what they look like on a Liquid Silver 8.

Wendy, you see that OVI checkpoint on 22 and 48 last Friday night? More cops there than a doughnut shop at 5AM. I was coming home from Dayton around 9:15 and was making a right from 48 onto 22 south/west and a county cop though I was going around the OVI. Well, he followed me almost to my driveway. Gee, I just drove 450 miles back from Rochester NY and sure, I was drinking the entire time. Good thing he didn't see my missing front license plate.

Thinking up new vanity plate(s). How about "1 Plate" That will get peoples attention.

Yes Sir, Lucy and I got stopped at that checkpoint, lol. I had come from a night out with my girlfriends at Chili's also but I was a good girl as usual and didn't have a drop of liquor....I was amazed at the amount of $$$ that went into that checkpoint and then they didn't even ask to see my driver's license or anything - was a bit of a disappointment really. I have been naughty too and taken my front plate off....I'm becoming such a bad girl, lol, you all are bad influences on me.
