Steve, must have been tough not to stop and pee with Smokey following, not sure about the 1 plate. Isn't Ohio doing away with the whole 2 plate thing anyway? So I've heard they will save millions of dollars doing this (duh).

P.S. The new plates are a vast improvement over the UDF plate. It looked good on nothing

Speaking of plates, check out the Brumos Porsche frame I picked up yesterday. Since the rotary is gone in Grand Am, at least for one more year, the Brumos Porsche will be there.

Have you seen video of Nelson? I grew up 40 minutes from there and went there as a kid. It hasn't been paved since. The track is a bunch of patchwork and looks rough as ****. I can't say that i'd run it unless i wanted blood in my urine and stool, or wanted to ruin my suspension. People still run it all the time, it just looks a little too rough for my taste. From what i've seen and heard, it's a fun little track when smooth. My dad ran it in his vette back in the 80s.

I like the Brumos plate. I'm trying to talk Jason into doing brumos graphics if he ditches the light blue GT3 stripes.

I have a front plate on the m3, only because i don't have a plate delete and the empty frame looks worse than a plate. Once i clean the bumper up and get it re-sprayed, it will be gone. I never had one on the 8, and don't have one on the 525. I will likely be swapping both the M3's and the 525's plates to the new ones at renewal.

Steve, here's some more pics of my little bundle of poop and spit up. http://min.us/mjFM7aTAKy2n/24

We got home from the hospital yesterday. Not sleeping much is much more tolerable when you can do it in your own bed.

Yeah Ohio is doing away with the 2 plates... thank goodness! I don't have a front plate on my 8... here's hoping I don't get pulled over

I am going to try and make it up to midohio sometime in June as well. I won't be driving, just watching a friend of mine.

Mazdax3, those are pretty! I'll definitely keep those in mind... I'm trying to hold off on spending anything extra right now, flight and such to go pick her up was expensive enough lol. Thank you!

Steve, you kind of inspired me to change my plate. I may do this one from T.U. They win the independent college plate competition every year in KY for most sold. Although I have never seen one, I think it would look good with the "951". I assume the letters would be in white with the red background.

There's a red Cayman with black wheels running around NKY with "987" standard plates, and thought that was pretty cool.

Edit: added a picture of the plate with 3 letters. Looks like more of a brick than a red color, but still better than the one I got.

Back after a little over two weeks without Internet (no satellite coverage in the south Atlantic, I'm glad we don't normally go to Brazil).

Kevin, congratulations to you and Veronica. Glad that everyone is well.

Welcome to our new member Cindy. You should be on the lookout for my wife's car, Sunlight Silver with some mods and the plate HER8. That's if she ever drives it instead of the Speed.

Steve, you make me jealous talking about driving your Miata. I'm about halfway done with my trip this time, although with our current lack of scheduling it will be hard to say just when I'll be able to get off and go home. Plus I still have to get the head fixed and everything assembled before I can drive it. Unless of course the wife does that for me...

chief, I'll keep a lookout for her :-) I'm actually located in the Dayton area. Saw a pretty yellow 8 last night in downtown Dayton. Was that anyone on here?

Blame a senior moment, I confused you with someone else who had posted as being from my area. That's what happens when I try to catch up too fast after not having Internet for a while.

She does have some friends in the Dayton area but we are hardly ever up there.

Tact, you misunderstood me. I'm back online, not home yet. Still have a little less than two months to go, then I have to get the Miata's head taken care of and everything back together before I can do any events. I could drive either the Speed or the wife's 8 if one comes up before the Miata is ready.

Miss the RX8s at Mid Ohio. This will have to do. Corral not as good as in the past. Maybe it'll pick up on Saturday.

Thanks. I'll check with them.

I ended up not autocrossing this weekend with some medical problems..
first I cut my finger while removing the dishwasher. big enough doctor was debated if i need stitches or tape, I opted for tape ^^;
and may or may not related, but my left half of the face got paralyzed... Diagnosed as Bell's Palsy, and hopefully recover in a week to a few weeks... They don't know exactly why it happens, but there are report it triggered by physical injury.
Kind of scary, but for the positive note, no I can wink first time in my life! Just need to be careful not to attract girls winking around...

None taken. If a car performs well, it doesn't matter what brand it is. Can't wait to head up to Lexington in a couple weeks. Post up some pics.

After talking with Nick (Rossion Q1, BMW M coupe) this weekend at FUEL and learning all about his car. I want one of those Rossion Q1's.

Tact. take care of yourself. I don't want to have to call you Sloth from now on.

Steve. The P-car corral attendance is low because the owners are usually at a track event somewhere driving their cars, not parking them in the grass to be spectators.

Porsche owners drinking Chardonnay and eating Brie. That's the true story. BMW owners eating schnitzel.

Mustang and Camaro crowd were trying to out-NASCAR each other.

M-O needs some work. I'm waiting for the Honda bridge to fall down. Some of the boards are pretty worn. That whole Rolex series needs a reset. Conti and Playboy Miata had a lot better racing. The Double Porkers (DP) are boring and ugly.
