Yeah, I tend to drive sprinted as well lol. So whats going on this weekend? Any events? I'll have the girlfriend visiting this time so I might be "awake" for the coffee in Cincy. About what time do people show up and also don't make me the only rotary guy! lol!

lot starts getting full at 9am anymore down at Fuel. Last weekend's turnout was insane. I captured some of it in this here vid.

in other news, I just struck a deal today that will have me in another fun car next week as soon as I get some funds cleared to hand over.

It needs some love cosmetically, but it's not wrecked and very mechanically solid. The two key brands in the mechanically solid part are Dinan and TCKline

Where did you find your ABM R3? I picked mine up last spring in South Dakota.

Yep. Deal made, just waiting for money to move and clear on my end. It had a dinan badge at one point, but it is thankfully no longer on the car.

Congrats Fuz, can't wait to see the new ride, if I ever put the paint brush down long enough to come to FUEL. This car wouldn't happen to be FI now would it?

Might just be a Dinan Supercharged e36 M3 with TCKline double adjustables, poly bushings, all weak points re-enforced, adjustable sways and endlinks, lightweight flywheel, and a short shifter. It also has 3 sets of wheels and some more goodies that i'm forgetting at the moment. It's just pretty rough and needs some love.

Fuz, sounds like a solid car for tracking. I would like to move to an E36 or A4 stick for a daily once/if the Camry dies.

you just have to be comfy in a shitty old cheap car as a dd, and be ready to wrench and do body work on both cars, all of the time. All Of The Time

i show up around 10 or so usually. I'm in no hurry as i don't have anything worth parking in the lot. Can't say that you won't be the only 8, or rotary car there since i don't own one anymore.

fuz, something about the finish on the BMW wrap grabbed my attention on 275 today. Love the look! I'll try to get to fuel soon, just every time I get my 8 looking good something happens to it again. I got it looking good, then pulled into a driveway with fresh gravel that hadn't been leveled yet. It cracked my bumper pretty good.

I bought my first bike, got it all prettied up and repainted. tweaking the carbs tomorrow and hoping to have it sold by the end of the weekend.

New car is home and in the car port.

It's nice to have a fun car again.

The beauty of buying it from a friend of a friend is that i got a stack of receipts on top of a killer deal. The previous owner is happy to see it stay "In the family" and I'm happy with a solid, fast car.

Did i mention that it's fast?

I'll post up some pics when i get some. To dark by the time i got home and ate.

sorry i missed you there. I saw your car, but didn't track you down.

That FD was clean, as was the swap though. I talked to the owner a bit. It was previously a mild street ported REW with a GT35R single swap. He just decided to go the piston route after too many rebuilds. The current engine is a mildly cammed LS6 with head work, ported intake etc. It's replacing the LS1 he blew up I think he may be hard on engines.

Hard on engines or not smart in certain ways. I was there as well and he seemed to have blown a handful of them.

And Kevin congrats on getting her home. Can't wait to see her.

Yeah....seeing the car sit for a few hours and him start it up and take off hard with no warm up.....not surprised on him going through engines. I was sitting to the right of the coffee shop in the chairs there for around an hour with my girlfriend, random people would come by and sit in the other seats lol. I always wear a hat also if you think you might have seen me.

Aren't superchargers fun Kevin?

Finally got a decent connection for the first time in a couple of weeks. We have technicians coming tomorrow, hopefully they will fix the antenna problem (but I still won't have access to eBay, bastards!). Last week sucked, had to drift for two days while fixing one of the things that lets us move. Then both reefer compressors took a dump so that was a race to get one running before all the food went bad. Only another 3 1/2 months to go!
