Congratulations James!!! your car looks awesome!!! hopefully you and kevin can fit it better than with pop rivots, and worst case scenario with the stock front, now you have sides and the hole rear looking great, and next year you'll have an original bumper as a gift from the wifey!!!

Can you fit 3 grown men in an 8? Well, we'll find out tomorrow as Bob and Ned join me in the trip to M-O. I'm not sure we'll let Ned into the corral since he sold his 8 a couple years ago for a friggin S2K and he leased a Veloster as his daily driver.

Hey recondude there is a black cherry rx8 I believe it's a shinka over at camargo Cadillac on Montgomery rd by where I work. I pass it everyday. Looks to be in great shape. May be worth taking a look at unless your opposed to that color.

 

I'm not around in these parts much anymore because of how busy I am lately. But James, the car is looking good.
Hopefully they can fix that fitment on the front.
Still not a fan of that front bumper, but it is starting to grow on me, especially how you blacked out the fog lights!

Recondude, it's a non-leather model but the price is pretty good for a dealer and has some options on it.

 

yea iv seen this one i like it a lot for it not having leather. these guys are ******* dicks though. i almost bought an integra off them last year. went in and and test drove it. you could tell it was modded by a kid. and was priced at like 7k with 160k on the car tried to talk them down to five, wouldn't have it. damn russians....love their woman though

So I'm getting settled in up here in Columbus. New apartment and I finally have internet again. Did you all miss me? :D

 

Mid-Ohio was a blast. Steve and I both won something from the raffle (and I bought my tickets at the last possible minute). We got two parade laps and I actually got to get on it through some corners (all the while listening to "you better not wreck my car" from the passenger's seat). Steve, it took them quite a while to get us out on the track, think it wasn't until around 2030 so you would have been that much later getting underway. Hope Ned made it home in time!

We went back this morning for a little while, watched the MX-5 Cup race which was great. Nothing like a spec series for tight racing.

Bought it at an Infiniti dealer up here, I ended up getting a really good deal for it plus got a set of blizzacks to go with the car. The car had about 16,500 miles when I bought it and it's only a 2010.

No mods other than i think 5% tint in the rears (it's really dark) and maybe 35% up front, alpine single din deck w/ rockford fosgate amp and subs. Everything else on the car is stock as far as I know. And mudflaps lol.

Just for that comment I'm sticking my Sti right in the middle of all the 8s

I will be back in Cincy sometime this week so I may check out Wednesday night Fuel. Anyone plan on going?
