I had the 8 clean for about a week. Went out to the garage around 7 and opened the garage door. Lots of water dripped off the garage door onto the car. Arrgghh!

I'll be there around 8:15. I have to be over by River Downs by 11:30 so I think 2 hours should be enough before we lose the light.

Nice pics everyone. The cars look great. Too bad I couldn't make it, I was camping in the Smokies all weekend. Plus after three seasons of autocross and life as a daily driver, let's just say Shin isn't as photogenic as he used to be.

I plan on being there and I know lycanthrope will be there as usual. Plus the PAX challenges usually draw out some of the area's best talent, so it should be a pretty good show. Even if you don't want to race just come out and visit us. We're usually racing until about 4-ish.

 

I'll be there. Unfortunately I just discovered that since I am not a SCCA member, and didn't do more than half the events, I am not eligible for a trophy. I was going to take care of the membership detail until I found out about the more than 50% rule. Oh well, such is life.

Today would be a good day for a photoshoot.....Not!

I have a 20 x 30 print made up at Costco waiting for me. It's the B&W one of my S2, but enhanced a little. For $8.99 I don't expect much, but if it looks fairly decent, I might have it printed on metallic paper at Mpix or somewhere.

 

Picked up my 20 x 30" print tonight. Really not too bad for $8.99. It appears that Costco prints them on a large format Epson inkjet. I'll probably take it up to Hobby Lobby and have it dry mounted and I'll put it in a black alum. frame. Now if I can hang it in the family room....

Naw, it'll go in the home office, right next to the autographed Mazda Dyson LMP1 poster I got from Sebring a couple years ago.

 

Looks like the weather will clear up for the auto x so I might just come cheer you guys on! Should be a great day for running the cones...

Dumb question but will these tires fit my stock rims and not rub do you think for winter? Husband will not allow for "new" rims so I am looking at what I think can go on my stockers I hate non-car loving husbands!

I don't want to have another white knuckle daily commute come winter I want "easy" so I can study while I drive

 

Those are 19's so they won't fit at all. Stock size is 225/45/18

 

Duh...I meant the 18 of that hehehe...

 

If you wanna grab the 19s we can throw 'em on mine. I wouldn't be mad.

Just read the long range forecast for Ohio/Midwest/Great Lakes: above average snow and cold. Looks like the CX-7 may get more of a workout this winter. Spd6 was killer in snow with all season treads on.

I may go ahead an put the second set of tires I have on this weekend. They're 245's all seasons so there go da handling.

I saw Senna last night. Not a bad film. I can't wait for the Blu-Ray release.
