And Jeff did you go to Indy? Man the whole day was so nice.. Sunny and kind of warm… I was talking with Misty and we were both pretty sad we didn’t go cuzz of my car not being ready!

Anyhow hopefully I get it back Monday (but who wants to bet they will make another excuse)

Josh its ok man, your car is more important than a meet, so glad to see that you got your car fixed! Which dealership did you take it to?

The meet was pretty sweet! The weather up there was just perfect! About 12-15 cars showed up and about 10-12 went on the cruise though downtown indy..let me tell you all..we were turning everyones heads as we were driving down down..def something to see!! Im so happy that I went! Cant wait for the next one!

Hopefully we all can caravan next time..

The Stock Air box is spick and span and is working great I put the new filter in and I fixed EVERYTHING in my car. The car runs better than it did before hands down.

The car club is called 1337 Streets, and we meet up pretty much every weekend at around 9 at nku depending on the weather and then sometimes we go out and cruise or go out to eat somewhere. It just depends, most of the time we just hang out.

I am soooo pumped I got everything back in order and that it is clean and runs great!

Jeff to answer your question about the dealership, I take it to Kings Mazda, or at least I did. I can't stand the people up there, they have know idea how to work on these cars. They do things half *** and it is always extremely dirty when I get it back. I am finsihed taking it there I have educated myself very very well on how to work on the 8 and I take pride inmy work. So if anyone ever needs help with anything locally I love working on the car and would be more than happy to help. DON'T GO TO KINGS MAZDA, the guys at Florence Mazda are really cool and are willing to answer questions and help you anyway they can....

Sorry to hear about your luck with Kings Mazda! I have actually developed good relationships with all the guys up there over the past few years. They put a dent in my car and fixed it and paid for it within a few hours..no problems. I was up there this past wed..thought I saw your car up there sitting outside. But I am really sorry to hear about what happened..I will talk to Jason about it when I go in there in a week or so for maintance.

So what is this car club about? Would love to check it out too. I am always down for meeting new car enthus.

We should schedule in march a CINCY meet! Let me know if this is anything you guys would want to do..

I blacked out the windows, and added the factory driving lights so far. That's it for now 'cause money's tight(in between re-locating and establishing a new career). I don't have a place to stay yet as I am trying to rent my house out here.
Looking foward to getting up there next month. By the way I bought that factory fog-light kit on ebay for around 50 bucks including the shipping. Hell of a deal considering the dealer wants over 300.

I see that Rotary Extreme is coming back this summer and they are going to re-establish that whole Helix exhaust. That is my next purchase. I am glad I didn't settle for something as I am going to wait to see what pans out with this venture... talk to you all later. BBRX8

moete87, how do you like the Tein Basics on your 8? That is going to be the next thing I am looking into after the exhaust. My friend has them on his G35, and they are great on there(nice drop without a sacrifice in ride quality).

Whats going on man? I love my basics on my car!! I have a mild drop on it right now since I have the MS side skirts and everywhere I go around town there is some kind of lip for me to drive up on. So I love the drop and the ride quality. I had Tanabe GF210 springs on before the basics..wow what a difference! The basics are def worth the money! I love speeding through turns while everyone is braking! I want to get a few more suspension componets, but I am in the process of doing a mini car pc and I want to save up some money to get the MS front bumper and new 19inch wheels and tires by the summer time...**** maybe it all can be my college grad present?!! Hahaha.

All of the other times I have gone up to Kings Mazda they did great work. It was this time and the time before, as you know I am away at college and I dont keep my car up there so when something goes wrong my mom calls and talks to them and schedules stuff and then she gives them my cell number. Well the only thing Jason has done is he was getting very mean towards my mom which I will not tolerate to have someone disrespect another person. And the one thing that made me mad was that they would call my mom and talk to her about things wrong with the car when she gave them my number. It seems like they are trying to take advantage of her. That is the only things that bothers me up there, and like I said before they just didnt do a very good job this past time. Oh well it is water under the bridge got the car back and it runs great.....THANK GOD

Sounds like you havent gotten your car back yet Steve. I was talking with a co-worker(Jason who has the FD) about how the rx7 store in Columbus had his car for over year. But of course parts are harder to come by with his car.

Great to see the car back man! So how does the power feel now with the new turbo and int-x? Much difference?

So when are we all getting together for a meet? We def need one now since you got your 8 back!
