Josh good to see you got your car fixed… Hope my old air box helps out!!! What is that car club name that you are in again? And if you guys meet again I’d like to check it out so let me know

And Jeff did you go to Indy? Man the whole day was so nice.. Sunny and kind of warm… I was talking with Misty and we were both pretty sad we didn’t go cuzz of my car not being ready!
Anyhow hopefully I get it back Monday (but who wants to bet they will make another excuse)

Josh its ok man, your car is more important than a meet, so glad to see that you got your car fixed! Which dealership did you take it to?
The meet was pretty sweet! The weather up there was just perfect! About 12-15 cars showed up and about 10-12 went on the cruise though downtown indy..let me tell you all..we were turning everyones heads as we were driving down down..def something to see!! Im so happy that I went! Cant wait for the next one!
Hopefully we all can caravan next time..

The car club is called 1337 Streets, and we meet up pretty much every weekend at around 9 at nku depending on the weather and then sometimes we go out and cruise or go out to eat somewhere. It just depends, most of the time we just hang out.
I am soooo pumped I got everything back in order and that it is clean and runs great!

Jeff to answer your question about the dealership, I take it to Kings Mazda, or at least I did. I can't stand the people up there, they have know idea how to work on these cars. They do things half *** and it is always extremely dirty when I get it back. I am finsihed taking it there I have educated myself very very well on how to work on the 8 and I take pride inmy work. So if anyone ever needs help with anything locally I love working on the car and would be more than happy to help. DON'T GO TO KINGS MAZDA, the guys at Florence Mazda are really cool and are willing to answer questions and help you anyway they can....

Sorry to hear about your luck with Kings Mazda! I have actually developed good relationships with all the guys up there over the past few years. They put a dent in my car and fixed it and paid for it within a few hours..no problems. I was up there this past wed..thought I saw your car up there sitting outside. But I am really sorry to hear about what happened..I will talk to Jason about it when I go in there in a week or so for maintance.
So what is this car club about? Would love to check it out too. I am always down for meeting new car enthus.

Looking foward to getting up there next month. By the way I bought that factory fog-light kit on ebay for around 50 bucks including the shipping. Hell of a deal considering the dealer wants over 300.
I see that Rotary Extreme is coming back this summer and they are going to re-establish that whole Helix exhaust. That is my next purchase. I am glad I didn't settle for something as I am going to wait to see what pans out with this venture... talk to you all later. BBRX8

moete87, how do you like the Tein Basics on your 8? That is going to be the next thing I am looking into after the exhaust. My friend has them on his G35, and they are great on there(nice drop without a sacrifice in ride quality).
But if you want to know more just let me know!

On 3/15/08, the second annual Empire Tuning meet takes place in Columbus, OH. Last year there were close to 75 mazda's in attendance. We hope this year will be an even greater turnout.

Sounds like you havent gotten your car back yet Steve. I was talking with a co-worker(Jason who has the FD) about how the rx7 store in Columbus had his car for over year. But of course parts are harder to come by with his car.

Great to see the car back man! So how does the power feel now with the new turbo and int-x? Much difference?
