No pictures yet, but I'll work on it. BTW, since no one else is asking MadDog... MadDog, why were you are the Lexus Dealer?

Mighty nice car, I'm sure it rides oh so nice. Big difference between that and the Ocho... But it is all about what meets your life style. So are you going to give it a run through one of the auto X events Actually 0 to 60 time not bad numbers at all, less than 7 seconds.

I have to say I don't miss the 8's poor gas mileage; My vette is averaging about 24 to 26 in town with normal driving/some sporty runs and 26 to 30 on HWY.. same scenario. I still check out the 8's, great car and I think it still turns heads.

Hope you all have a great Independence Day!

Nice! I think those new ES350's are pretty slick. 272hp?? wow. that must be pretty quick!

Nice try, Kewl. But your effort to diffuse the rage of the forum for trading your 8 is futile. I wasn't at the Lexus dealer. I actually saw the car (and your trademark emblem) while flying down I-25! I got the picture from their website.

Well...I had to try MadDog. What's the status of your twin turbo project? I still wouldn't mind a few minutes behind the wheel with those installed.

I've been tagging cars like crazy - well - 3 in as many days.

We need a gathering to make it interesting. I'm thinking this weekend for a drive? (yes Kewl and Ocho, you are both still invited.)

You are not kidding Ocho! Great to see you on here again! Thanks for the link I will check it out. Oh by the way what brand of brakes was it that you had put on your 8 before that final fateful day & why? I am going to have to get some new brakes on mine here shortly is why I am asking.

Hey guys...like Justin I was beginning to wonder where everyone went to. I check in often and except for Utah and Colorado there wasn't much going on.

Glad to see there are still some folks active...and believe it our not, one of the three actually owes an 8. Jim, when is the next AutoX?

Hawk HPS brake pads is what I installed.. I believe Tim was running the sam pads as well. I really didn't get more than 250 miles on the rotors/brakes so can't tell if I liked them better or not.. But several vendors in the forum sell them at a good deal. You can't buy them from anyone in town.. (Dealer sells parts but like 200 for each set of brake pads)

I got my rotors and pads from the RX7store but I don't recommend doing business with them.. prices are great, but **** I still have a box of complete rotors at my house from them. they screwed up and shipped me two. I have tried for several months to get them to pick them up or give me a check for shipping. So going to check with my attorney and send a notice to claim property or it will be mine type situation.

I will be heading out to the Auto X this month. Not planning on running the vette still getting use to the power. That thing can spin tires like no other.
