^seems like an overwhelming amount. I think there should be an area where he can just post a forum name or whatever and say confirmed receipt well maybe not here but through a portal login on his website maybe? He could also then post a confirmed receipt and is something was missing or wrong say missing log map or map must be calibrated at 4200 rpms please redo or something. I know thats more work to setup but i think it would be helpful less questions and people wondering.

I saw Mazdamaniac AND Hund (dayum she's HAWT. I digress...) last weekend and they're working on a new system to get these maps to you quicker.
Some email providers are flagging the emails as spam and some are simply not being delivered.

my gmail account never received the last map Jeff sent me.

I know the wait sucks, trust me..I've been there but know that Jeff is trying to work though the backlog.

 

Yeah thats what happend to me, He told me it was sent but i never received the map. He had to resend. It didnt come up in my spam folder or anything... But im still waiting since may27th too! it will get here when it gets here. My car runs the way it is so im not rushing. lol

I havent gotten a received map at all im going to send it from my work email.

 

^^^ only send them from the email you bought / registered your AP with.
Using multiple email addresses will probably only lead to more confusion.

It's weird, it doesn't always block them. The last 2 maps Jeff sent, I got just fine.

MM and Hund were out in CA last weekend so I met up with them and I threatened to Falcon Punch Jeff if he didn't give me a map.

 

....too late but i wouldnt think it causes confusion one of the "11 questions" asks which email did you use to purchase the AP? I just would like to figure out if my email is being blocked or what i havent gotten a received i sent my calibration on the 13th, and if its due to hey we have alot on our plate thats fine i just need to know if im at least on the line lol.

 

typically if you don't get the "received" email it's because something was missing / wrong with the email.
did you sent the logs AND a copy of your current map?

 

mine took a few weeks to get the 'received' email and everything was in order..

 

most definitely sent 3 maps and even labeled them.........I didnt want to be one of those where is my map people but screwed up and didnt follow directions.

 

why 3? he probably just wants the one you have flashed when you log.

 

Log for cruise, WOT, and idle.

I was assuming he meant to say logs, not maps.... but you never know.

 

1 Map of the original flash found through his link and 2 logs idle, and cruise to create the base calibration. 3 files in all. Isnt the WOT throttle the next step once he creates a true base map from the logs above he uses the second logs to create a more performance oriented map? Maybe im confused and that's why i m not getting a map? In any case its alot to go through to figure i screwed something up i think.

 

If this is your 1st log, you're correct.
You'll send the base map and two logs (idle and cruise).

Thanks Jeff, I got mine today and just installed v4.2

I'm hearing something really weird from under the hood and I'm not sure I can articulate exactly what, but it sounds kinda like what you'd hear if you had some cellophane and started balling it up.. I don't hear it at idle, but def when I drive down the street. Top speed outside my house is 55, but it's in a construction zone, so 45 is the top speed. I hear it mostly in 2nd-6th gears.

Any ideas? or does this explanation (or lack thereof) make any sense?
