It'll be all day Saturday and Sunday.

Who needs brakes? Brakes are for wimps!

And for people that need to stop, but that is a minor technicality.

I'm just glad I as able to run off into the shoulder.
There was construction a few hundred yards ahead of me and I wouldn't have been able to run off the road then.

Yeah... and possibly create more work for me
Truck already has 206K miles on it so it wouldn't take much.

Hey, I have a quick question. if you remove silencers out of your exhaust, does that require a retune? or should I be good. I'll leave 'em in if I have to. just curious.

Exhaust changes generally do not have an effect on the tune.

Ok, thanks MM. just asked because the turbo is more free flowing, I figured it would do more good than hard to remove them. Hoping it will reduce IAT's.. But I was trying to use common sense. hopefully I'm not wrong

I'll keep an eye on AF's. I had them in Pre-Turbo because the TurboXS pipe was so damn loud. the turbo quiets it down immensely.

So far, for a greddy turbo, it's lasted close to 3k miles with no sign of smoking, so I must be doing somthing right Restrictor in, water/meth kit.

-Thanks a bunch mm.

Any word on when a new batch of BHR coil dwell tunes will be released? Setting up a track day locally and want to get the most out of them.

Yeah, but he just gave you your first map for AT I assume, he doesn't have to modify it.

the rest of us are awaiting datalogged tunes.

Experienced detonation I'm pretty sure the other day. I was flooring it in first and there was weird sounds near redline, my first reaction was the rev limiter but it was obvious it wasn't. Sounded like the tincan thingy.

It was bloody hot outside, so MUCH higher intake temps than my map was logged at I'm sure, I have been looking at them other days, but not when it's been this hot, it was probably 30C outside compared to probably 10C when I logged. So I have a couple of questions.

1) Should I be worried about the engine after one of these, like could there be damage now even if I let off the gas as the sound came?
2) Should I fill 98 instead of 95 gas in summer to be safe, or go to base map?

It should be noted that I'm driving with my 4.04 map from Jeff and he didn't say finished, I didn't finish mapping because the road I usually used has been closed for roadworks and it's so risky on the highway in spring/summer. And technically my calibration time is expired, I've commited to an ignition kit and such so I can't afford to fork out the new $ to complete it now.

I mean the received email, not the new map. The AT has the Turbo on now so can't wait to put it on the dyno with a better tune.

Oh, probibly wasn't working on the holiday, His email is automated to look for the subject "accessport calibration service" and send a recieved message. I have a feeling we'll be seeing maps this week.

Jeffff,

I bought an AP for my first RX8, and I'm about to buy a second AP. There gonna be any confusion on your end?
