Just received my BHR coil map from Jeff. Can someone point me in the right direction in regards to figuring out how to update the new map format. I unzipped the map file I received and when i attempt to put it into my manager program a pop-up states the map is the old file type and to go to the cobbtuning.com site to get the new updates to convert the map. I surfed the site and all I can find is new firmware updates for the manager itself. Any suggestions?

WTF. I thought that was only for the AP unit itself. Oh well I guess I had that coming. Thanks.

No.

Still working on the final 50.

Plus, another 15 or so came in.

Awaiting another 30 or so.

If you did not receive a confirmation, then is is likely that you did something wrong.

Just send a request for verification. Hund will get back to you.
However, getting it right is painfully easy.
370 people or so seem to have no problem.
There are only 15 or 20 people that chronically get it wrong and it is ALWAYS because they didn't follow the directions.

After not submitting the correct files (the base calibration as downloaded and two log files for your first submission, the downloaded base calibration and three log files for every submission after that) and including proper answers to the "11 Deadly Questions" (I still get people that answer "Forum Name" or "E-Mail" address with, literally, "this one", lol), the most common error is to not select the proper parameters in your log files from the setup menu on the AccessPORT.
Well, that and not doing the cruise log correctly (is it really that hard to get to 4200 RPM and hold it on a car with a 9000 RPM redline?).
Or failing to warm up the car before getting the logs.
Or trying a WOT run on a boosted car with the base calibration.
Or using a Cobb-provided "stock-style" map as their base calibration.
Or...

^ I agree the one question I did have and posed it on this thread was my log was at 4800 would it still be acceptable maybe thats why i never received a response however i searched the thread for an answer and thought it was ok as the only thing you are trying to achieve by having the rpms at 4200 is an open loop which would be so at 4800? If that the reason i never got a response then yup guilty im in the batch of people that cant follow instructions.

I guess I am going to have to re-write the instructions in the most punctilious, condescending, minimalist-English that I can.

Considering you unmistakably utilized punctilious in a sentence that course might be overly laborious. Fortunately most of the commonality that exemplify the antecedent rationality generating your desire to perform such a enterprise would miss the acrimony in the assertion.

^Ok I posted a question regarding the 4200 rpm mark as I went above that mark, i searched to try and find an answer in the thread which most people do not and thought i found an answer I'm still unclear as to if you can calibrate a map based on my rpms even though I admit I blew your mark. You state in the instructions it must be up to 4200 rpms from what i read that is just to achieve an open loop. If im wrong it cannot be calibrated at 4800 that's all i need i will glady take another log and send it no problem. If you are going to be making amendments to the instructions the only thing i would suggest as im sure it would be helpful to some is your cruise map must be logged between 4200 rpms and xxxx rpms or else your calibration will be rejected as you specified the low side (4200) but no what the maximum at which you can accurately tune a map. As for your instructions they are good and i did what i could to figure out if i was doing things wrong you can look in the thread and see im human i make mistakes i thought i found the correct answer.

And through further searching looks like im at fault 4500 might be the max

"It will go to zero and stay there when you hit open loop.
It may show up as a fraction (like "-0.16" or something) in the datalog, but it will be steady." -MM
4200 is really the minimum RPM. You can wind it out to 4500 or so just to be sure.

It can be calibrated with a cruise above 4200 (true, not indicated).
However, that is not what I ask for.

As I do, essentially, the same thing, over and over again - sometimes 30 or more times a day, any variation from the instructions causes an immediate disconnect, where I have to stop and evaluate that individual setup differently.
To avoid this work-stop, anything that deviates gets set aside.

Anyone that has seen my desk knows exactly what happens to things that get "set aside".

^No problem I will redo my log and get as close to 4200 as I can. I also understand the set aside pile your service is free and you should get what you are asking or as close to it as possible like i said i just thought i had the answer and really had no idea it was the wrong one. Thanks for the clarity.

Its not that difficult to get close to 4200 rpm.
I use my AP to display live monitoring of my RPM and set the cruise on my car.
Then "jog" the cruise speed up or down until I'm close to 4200 rpm (reading through my AP).

Yours went out. I resent just now. Check again.

There are a LOT of you still not following the directions.
It is VERY important that you select the correct parameters to log on that AccessPORT.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

I will NOT be bending the rules any longer. If your submission is FUBAR, it will simply go away as if it never existed.
You have been warned.
