I have a 03 model here, (but i dont think they list 03 in the state)

Whats the support like for us people on otherside of the globe, just short of NZ and South Pole

Well, well, well, Santa just dropped something onto my desk here at work. It's in a pretty blue box and say "AccessPORT" on it..

I was very skeptical of the AP and what everyone was saying about it. Let me say, I am a HUGE fan. It makes the 8 so much more enjoyable. Smoother, faster, better gas mileage.. It's a panacea.

 

They have the 03 model in the US too. I want to remember that Jeff has a 03 and for all purposes 03=04.

I have a 03 here in Europe and the EUDM model works like a charm.

I sent in logs two days ago but I have not received any "Received" confirmation mail. Now I'm not bitching about this, but you and Jeff have been doing such swift work lately that 2 days wait makes me believe that my logs were lost in transition somehow.

Could you check if you have gotten any logs from me?

 

I'm sure your case is the same as mine.. I sent mine in a couple days ago also... Hund said MM is out of town and will be back next week.

 

We received info from both of you. Jeff will be back this weekend from traveling. Sorry for the delay.

hey hund, i sent a pm to you & MM. I am about to buy the cobbaccess. I just need to know if it is now working with australian rx8?

for a 03 model what should i click to buy? 04 N/a?. Also when i went to check new base maps, there is none for the AT model 04. only MT. So does that mean the car is not yet supported?

Ok, I have a question: After this part:

"5) Press the "Back" button then press the "OK" button.
6) Select "Data Log" from the "Monitor" menu. Press the "OK" button
7) Press the "OK" button again to start the data-log.
8) After approximately 10 seconds, Press the "OK" button again to stop the data-log. You have just created your first data-log of the engine's idle performance."

Am I supposed to 'see' the AP logging data? If so, it's not doing anything after pressing the button....I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. I'm about to go for my drive.

 

you will see 'logging' on the screen, but you can still monitor the parameters one by one like in the 'live data' section

 

I'm not registering any data at all when logging at idle. The bite size is zero.

Hey MM or Hund,

Please dont think I am rushing MM or anything, I just fear I did something wrong on my last set of logs. i.e. earn one of MM "dumbass" stamps :-) I sent the last set in on apr 20th and got a "recieved" email on apr 21st.

If he is backed up, or out of town, or whatever ... no problem... just trying to make sure the holdup is not a screwup by me.
