map 4.00 --> Logged, sent over data -- actually felt some extra midrange power

map 4.01 --> Great mid range power, 60 mph was at a lower rpm, and little to no backfiring, Increased mpg.

map 4.02 --> (Current) My mpg got worse, more backfires, hard starts -- guessing its either too rich or the 10 degree weather is making my car run like crap lol....

(yes I realize your probably not up to my name again in the quell - just sharing

I guess it likes to suck in the air instead of being forcefed I'm going to have to come up with something because it's still a little stumbly. so I'll have to come up with some ducting scheme or something. Hey, MM. will I have to redo my calibration? or should I continue with 4.01 after I get the ducting done?
What intake are you using?

Airinx from the greddy kit. it's still doing it after I plugged the hole in my intake, put 2 screens in 1 before and 1 after the MAF. I don't think the maf is the problem. I looked at my datalogs and the Mass Airflow readings look pretty stable. they are not jumping all over the place or anything. The car isn't even in boost. I can be in vaccum and whenever i'm moving coming to a stop it stumbles and stalls.. other than the decel problem, it drives really nice.

The intake is your problem most likely, everything you are saying that is happening to you happened to me when I had that intake, stalling, stumbling everything. The problem is that the maf housing is the wrong size. Change your intake to the AEM one and all your problems should be solved.

Not sure but it is a known issue that the greddy maf housing brings problems. That is why most people change over to another intake.

I'm not using the greddy MAF tubing. I'm using custom 3.5" dia 6" from maf sensor. the way it's supposed to be. with 2 screens in it to straighten airflow.. trust me, maf isn't the problem (at least the tubing isn't) . it's something else.

yeah no kidding...I say we don't post stuff like this here....only use it for issues and questions. It really clutters up the thread.

its a nice idea but would never happen. junk posts like this one(lol) would still happen, and it'd take a near full time moderator to keep it cleaned up...

Ahh. OK.
No, it is too far outside the subscription range (I was in Chicago in June).

You can purchase a new Calibration Service subscription from my WEB page.
