MM, got your email containing 4.01 (dated Dec 2006?? )
Looks like I do the same thing I did with the Base Calibration. Off to take my first drive cycle I go.

i'm on 4.01 now as well. quick question, should I still have a stalling issue on decel when I push in the clutch? at a standstill. it idles fine, it only stubles when i'm moving to a stop.

have you tried uninstalling the AP to see if you get the idel stumble?
yeah, 4.01 felt normal, drove smoothly. Felt a lot like oem

If you just flashed your car it's perfectly normal. Most of the time mine drives like crap till the car relearns. I've had it so bad on the first drive cycle everytime I came to a stop it died. The next drive cycle it stumbled a lot on decel and the third cycle it drove fine. Then again I've reflash to a new map and it drove great right from the start.

yeah, could be the car just trying to relearn the fuel trims

I'm in Seattle. https://www.rx8club.com/nw-rx-8-forum-33/interest-flying-up-mazdamaniac-ap-dyno-tuning-weekend-160927/
I generally don't do calibration work over weekends, anyway (as indicated in post #1.
I found I needed some sort of life from time to time.

No, this is after second and third drive cycle. It's still stalling while coasting to a stop. When at a standstill It idles fine. or if I let it decel with it in gear and let off the clutch at the last second near stop. it'll idle fine. it seem to stuble only while I'm moving > like 10 mph when I push in the clutch. When I let out the clutch again after a stall to get the engine started, it lets out a backfire. which leads me to believe it's being bogged down by fuel.

I think I might know what the problem is.. Turbulence.. I have an Intake hole in my bumper, and that goes right into the air filter, so basically when i'm moving it's pushing turbulent air into the air filter, I blocked off the intake hole in my bumper and it seems that the idle got a little better while decelerating. I guess it likes to suck in the air instead of being forcefed I'm going to have to come up with something because it's still a little stumbly. so I'll have to come up with some ducting scheme or something. Hey, MM. will I have to redo my calibration? or should I continue with 4.01 after I get the ducting done?
