They have, it's called a 6Port Manual Transmission, that alone will increase your HP. Is it easy? absolutely not but someone here has done it.

"back to the bank to find another car"
You're buying another car because you can't beat a 10 year old Eclipse in a race?
Man I'm lucky I don't have to worry about the 6-port vs 4-port issues I have an 06 AT LOL Taboo I know but I'll make it work for my purposes which is all that matters.

Sorry back to the topic of the thread ACCESS PORTS... Mine will be ordered come July LOL

There isn't anything particularly different about the Shinka. It is all cosmetic.

Do you control when the secondaries and aux ports open? Every RX-8 dyno I've seen has a dip just before each stage of the S-DAIS opens. I bet it wouldn't be too hard to tune, if you knew where to look... But that is the biggest part after all.

It always seemed like the dip was before... So maybe they need to get opened a little later? Or is that just how the variable intake works?

Ehh I like this... http://www.proclipusa.com/brodit-veh...302-14500.aspx

Then just attach velcro and stick it to your AP and it works. plus imo it looks better than the others. Dezau, I have one of those and I didnt like it at all...

Hey Jeff...I was hoping you could help me out with something. I'm planning on buying an AP off of c41250n , which you had tuned for his turbo. My car is basically stock besides an RB dual res midpipe I'm installing next week. I plan on installing a catback exhaust next month. My question is if I buy his AP and become the second owner...how would I go about getting a custom Map for my car ? I'm obviously new to this lol..so I'd greatly appreciate If you could tell me what steps I would need to take along with any advice. Thanks!

-Cesar

P.S. Tried PM'ing you but your box is full.

If any of you guys have anything to say it would greatly be appreciated as well!

Yeah the proclip was on the top of my list. I don't like crap suction cupped on my windsheild and the vents ones are a pain to get off and you usually eventually end up cracking the vent (been there, replaced mine).

I already did I modified the bracket for the factory OBD plug because I kept hitting it while teh Cobb was plugged in. Have you checked the pins on yours? Sometimes the plug side just needs adjusting to make a better connection.

Cheapest and best visibility solution for mounting IMO is just an industrial strength circular sticky-back velcro like this in the area to the left of the vents. Downside is you see the velcro when the AP isn't mounted but meh.

Yeah, been there, done that. That doesn't work too well in 100F+ Texas weather. You end up with a gluey mess.

Hi, im looking to purchase this system very soon, part of my first investment for my 04 RX 8 haven't been able to make up my mind for Turbo or Supercharge, i know that most members been using it for turbo but i haven't found any info on the petit supercharger being tune with the Cobb, can you please inform me if yes or not it can be done,
my car is an AT so i was thinking SC since i get the power off the line vs the turbo, but again i might be wrong .
