Yeah there are a few different ways to mount it. Universal cell phone holders work good.

I put a strip of velcro on the back of my AP and a strip on the top left corner of my Nav.

Thanks, all my searched ended in threads that had nothing to do with it. Kinda hard to search for "Cobb AccessPort holder" when everybody and their mother has the Cobb in their sig ;P

this might possibly be a dumb question, but here it goes.

do i need to have the front O2 sensor in for the AP to work properly? mine was damaged when i tried removing it from the manifold for my turbo install. i dont want to buy a new one if i don't have to.

The front sensor is the wideband the PCM uses to adjust your fuel in closed loop. Your car will operate in open loop I imagine without it. It might run but not very well. You will have to get it fixed before doing any tuning.

there is no fixing it really. it was cross threaded from the factory. by the time we got it out, the threads were completely flattened.

Cool, thanks. I might just go to Best Buy and take a look at what they have whenever I get the AP.

I'd replace it with what it is, or repair the thread. The different 02 sensors have different calibrations, pin-outs etc.

Cheers,
Hymee.

You can eliminate the rear sensor and put an aftermarket sensor in its place. It doesn't serve any purpose once you get the AccessPORT and all readings and codes related to it will be eliminated.

The front needs to be replaced with the proper OE sensor.

No - I'm definitely still shipping orders.

Its not going to be a long, protracted situation. Cobb will fix it soon and it will be business as usual.

From the WEB site where you placed your order:

Orders are processed in the sequence in which they are received. Orders will typically ship within eleven (11) business days from receipt of payment.
Shipping times vary by destination. Shipping is by UPS to the USA and USPS to all other locations.

I couldn't find a search hit on this question:

I need to get my car emissions tested. It's a plug in obd2 emissions check. Will the ap prevent the emissions tester from checking for codes? Do I need to uninstall it? I would rather not because for some reason when I uninstalled the ap this weekend the cel came on (solid). So I will fail. The wierd thing is when I re-installed the ap I had no cel and no stored code. So I can't even check to see what the problem is using the ap. I'd like to figure it out but I need to get the test this week before it gets too close to Christmas so I can get my registration renewed.

First off, no having the AP installed will not prevent any emissions site from checking for CEL codes. I would make sure that if you do any flashing that you give the car a few days before going to get your emissions checked. The PCM has to perform various tests before it triggers an "ok" signal. That's to prevent people from clearing their codes right before going in to get checked.

If you uninstalled the AP and got a check engine light it's probably because your tune was masking it. You can pull codes with your accessport.

Thanks. The catch 22 is when I tried to pull codes I didn't get anything after I reinstalled the ap. Are they cleared when the ap is installed?

Okay. I'll have to check after a couple drive cycles to see if anything pops up.
