Unless COBB has a way to reprogram the accessPORT, no you cannot reprogram the AP to work with the RX8. The only way is to purchase an AP which is specifically made for the RX8.

Nope.

Cobb could probably do it, but they wont.

No amount of HP will ever give you the ability to read.

By this i mean.. there's 223 pages of posts in this thread, do you think maybe this has been asked once or twice? Maybe complete dynos of before and after? But you're right.. better to do zero research on your end and hope someone answers you.. so I will. You can expect to gain 11thousandey HP with 2 trillion extra pound feet of torque.

I can't believe you expect someone to search through 200+ pages of posts just so he can get an answer to a simple question that you already know the answer too.

And instead of you just answering him you just spam. If your not going to help him what is your reason for posting? This is a forum and we don't have to search if we dont want to...if you don't wanna answer the question don't post.

I 4 1 would like to know the answer to that question.

The amount of horsepower gained varies depending on the strength of the motor, modifications to the vehicle and the overall aggressiveness of the tune itself.

There is no defined number for any car. The benefits of the accessport go way beyond power gains to include many elements that improve overall drive ability and also longevity of the motor.

I 4 1 would like to know the answer to that question.
I'm sure my answer has been posted at least half a dozen times in this thread.

I searched for you and have determined that an AP will increase the HP of your 4AT by 4.57 horsepower.

From the site when you checked out and paid for your unit:

Orders are processed in the sequence in which they are received. Orders will typically ship within eleven (11) business days from receipt of payment.
Shipping times vary by destination. Shipping is by UPS to the USA and USPS to all other locations.
ALL PURCHASERS **MUST** PROVIDE A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS (NOT A GOOGLE-PROVIDED E-MAIL ADDRESS) TO RECEIVE THE MAZDAMANIAC CUSTOM CALIBRATION SERVICE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN NO CALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS, UPDATES, SHIPPING INFORMATION OR FURTHER INFORMATION!

Not a good idea to put your e-mail address here - you'll get a ton of spam.
Send all queries to ap @ mazdamaniac . com

I'm pretty sure your e-mail was provided on checkout, though.
Some people don't read the instructions and allow Google to provide a "spoofed" e-mail address. I have one such purchaser in my current queue from Florida.
Such purchasers will NOT receive the Custom Calibration service if they do not provide a real e-mail address.

Gmail is fine. Its the "fake" GoogleCheckout e-mail addresses that I can't use.

Ridiculous question. Since I plan on getting one of these soon, hopefully from MM, what is this thing that is holding it up on the AC vent?

I've seen a few people with items LIKE this, I'm just kinda curious. Looks like a cell phone holder?
