Hey any ofu guys know if there is any 8 groups around the Austin area? I mean i know u guys are only like an hour away but ever heard of anything?

 

There are a few guys in Austin but as a group they don't really get together. Before our group was organized I went to a couple of meets in Austin. Contact Canaryrx8, he is in Austin and pretty connected to the scene there.

i really want to do a prostyle shoot with a model, but with more of a lead time and when we all have time to get our cars ready, not trying to be an *** just want my car in tip top shape before a photoshoot like that

 

oh...there was an actual plan for that? well ya i hear ya....it deffinitely needs to be better weather for something like that....well im always down...especially next week since im off most the week...but im guessing it wont be that soon...

I keep thinking that something's wrong with the car when I start it because of how quite it is haha. My cats used to greet me when I got home because they'd hear me pull into the lot, but they've been asleep the last couple days I've walked in. I can't say I've noticed a huge difference in performance overall, but it definitely seems a tad sluggish when taking off in first. It's not too bad, but it's definitely something I've noticed.

How'd the HKS work out for that drive? Or did you put that off till Monday?

 

Well I made the drive and the HKS with a catless midpipe is loud a Fawk. Too loud, haha. It's ok under 75mph in 6th gear but above that it drones. Well it drones all the time actually

But I love the sound nd for some strange reason I think I got a significant boost in MPG. I have to do the math yet though off of my receipts. I can't wait to get the Nitrous in though. I think with the BHR Dual Res midpipe the exhaust will sound sick.

 

Yeah, it's definitely loud but I do enjoy the sound. At first I was worried about it sounding overly ricey but there's definitely a noticeable rotary note to it.

 

It's insane with my midpipe at WOT. Hopefully the BHR pipe will quiet it down to where I would like it. It attracts a bit too much attention if you know what I mean.

 

Yeah. I never had issues with cops fortunately... definitely one of the good things about living in texas.
