Meh, that calender is weak. A few of the best RX-8's I can think of are not on it. To have multiples of the same color is lame. How can you have a RX-8 calendar without the sickest representations of the RX-8? Ngo, Gregs, Konig, Angel, jedi, etc. I do give props to Alucard, new castle, nuke, and Dondo though because those cars are sick.

Think of the sexiest WWP RX-8, is it on that calender? Nope.

Think of the sexiest BB RX-8, is it on that calender? Nope.

Think of the sexiest VR RX-8, is it on that calender? Nope.

Etc. Etc. Not to mention the baddest Shinka on the planet is missing. But someone will compile an awesome calender eventually. Opinions are like ******** right

 

Everyone will not be happy when it comes to things like this, it's a given. I'm surprised I made it after seeing what I was up against in the previous threads not to mention how late to the party I was. I think some people are mad their car wasn't on it, but there's always next year. I think the guy putting this together was trying to put together a calendar that wasn't with a ridiculous amount of mods. It's more of the quality/resolution , background and angle of the shot, basically if it looks professional. I still think this will be a amazing calendar regardless

 

I would have to agree with 9k. That blue one with the CF hood is the worst looking one lol. JK

edit: The cars 9k mentioned that are missing also have some professional looking shots available.

Damn group project... hoping to be finished within the next couple of hours so I can stop by. Might bring my speakers if it's not too late but not sure I'll have time for that today. Might have to wait till I'm working on the boost gauge.

 

I was going to try for importfest, but we're having our annual Christmas drive that same weekend (10-11?) so I can't make it. Either way, it's definitely on my list, one other idea I had was a few years ago we had a bunch of people from all over the state (some Dallas, I think a few from SA and Killeen) come down to Austin and we all went driving around the fun roads out here, might be time to try and host something like that again. I know we have the Texas 8 and all too, but this was just a one day deal where everyone comes down and hangs out/drives then goes home etc. I dunno, just an idea, maybe we could do it sometime in April and hit up the Willow City Loop and get a bunch of 8's in front of bluebonnets
