Soooooooooo, Rims came in and I like them but I'm not in love with the gunmetal color in person

Don't get me wrong, I like them but my bud says I can swap them for another color. I am thinking I should just stay with the silver theme. What are your thoughts? I wish they made these in bronze. I was expecting to be wowed and I wasn't. I'm in no rush, I want to be happy with them.

the gunmetal is sweet man...i was gonna have all four of my wheels powder coated in gunmetal after the accident, but ended up not doing it...didn't have the funds available.

I just kind of think the black with the silver lip or the silver would go better with my theme? It's just that if I put them on, they are mine. For now I can swap at no cost. Decisions, decisions.

Hmm I like the gun metal myself. I am not a big fan of black on chrome for a red car. But I know a few people in the area that may disagree lol. I would love to see those wheels in like a black chrome or nickle chrome finish.

My second favorite choice would be the ""understated" is that possible with a +35 rim?" silver.

 

Yeah, I'm really torn. Because in a way black in general is played out but the subtle silver strip sets them off and the offset makes them nicely concaved. But the concave look is pronounced on the gunmetal color. Buuuuuuuuuuttttttttttttt................. The silver is just classic and I feel I cannot go wrong.

 

so have you tried ordering the exhaust to see if they honor the price!!

I like the gunmetal. The silver is ok, but too common.

 

Yeah, I talked to him this morning and he said no rush. My dad is coming in this weekend so I'm gonna take him by for a look see and get his opinion because he has a good eye for style and is an RX-8 outsider.

 

Still waiting to get the new video for the comparison but managed to get a short clip. As with most cameras, it obviously doesn't capture the full sound and volume of the exhaust, but oh well...
