What's up fellas, been in Maryland for a month. If you ever thought 410 has some crazy drivers at time, its nothing compared to those folks
I have spent a Great deal of time in the northern VA/Baltimore area in my life (spent Alot of time near Fort Mead....). Traffic there is crazy. Most businesses there let you dictate when you go into and leave work so you can better deal with the traffic. Its crazy. I loved San An traffic when I moved there from DC.

well I spent a good part of the day on the truck and still couldn't get it done, that fitting will not fit the line properly, I tried bending the line to line up better with no success, tried rigging it just so I could take it somewhere and that failed as well. So now no truck, no car, and I've wasted my entire holiday weekend trying to fix the pos. This comes on top of missing Primus last week due to work, and seeing pics all weekend on Facebook of my friends surrounded by Bmx royalty as well while I was covered in crap trying to have at least one working vehicle. Ugh...this weekend blows, hopefully something good will come out of all of it some magical way, I'm still dumb enough to be optimistic at least.

that's cool, thanks for the offer but it's not just the ignition, it's the spark plug wires as well so I'm getting a new set of wires along with my ignition which should arrive Wednesday. I'm hoping I can get a mobile mechanic to help with the truck, seems pretty silly to tow it for one stupid line/fitting/etc.

Yes, I try to ignore the new threads asking about which intake is the best but some days I just can't help it.

I always say the Injen intake is best and that checking the oil is needless propaganda from the oil companies.

It's that ones who start threads about what turbo they should get or other stupid performance related stuff that makes my head spin.

All noobs that start stupid threads should be put on a 3 day ban and required to answer 20 simple RX-8 related questions. If they fail the test they should be put on another 3 day ban, until they can answer all questions.

I'd be happy to administer the testing.

This is the type of **** I'm talking about. This dude makes no sense what so ever. Now imagine being the service adviser when this guy calls.

he was asking a lot more. I was going to get it but my only concern was that he rebuilt the turbo himself and he is has no experience doing so. But **** for a grand I would have bought it. hell if I had a grand right now I would buy it and resell it for a profit

Oh, and I'll be in the garage all weekend if anyone wants to join me. I have no GF and no kids so I am going to be working on my car and Hoss's.

I did my weekend last weekend...and it sucked.

I got my coils/wires back from BHR, so hopefully tonight I can put that back together. I have some other stuff to do too but I might hold off on that for a bit. My truck has been a nightmare, I have it running right now but it scares me to death every time I get behind the wheel, might still have some air in the cooling system as I've got plenty of coolant but it's still running a little warm, not wondering if the replacement thermostat is a higher temp than what I removed etc.

That sucks, hope you get it situated. This weekend will be fun wrenching for me, I'm not really fixing problems, I'm going to do some planning on my turbo build and install a few things on Hoss-05's car.

I'll be in the garage as well, I started planning my turbo out today. Fitting 2.5" piping in there is going to be interesting at best...

Once I figure out all the bends I need I'm going to get the kit wit the most matching bends and get the rest welded.

Should have the funds up for the BNR by Mid July Plan is to have everything else complete by then so I can just drop the kit in and go.

Should be a fun little frankenturbo project
