Tony:

Congrats on getting the car back. Please let us know how it is.

I went to see Tool in Baton Rouge last night. I parked next to a BB with rims and stock corners. Windows were tinted and it had a SC license plate.

So come on...who else is a Tool fan here???

Ay Roger, Ima try to get some SF wheels identical to yours but in GOLD. What do yall think? I have always loved red+gold. It really gives it a racer look.

Now now...

Well, it looks like imma hold off on the rims and buy the rp supercat. Hopefully it won't make the car sound too loud.

REVi

OK. I installed the REVi tonight (while cooking crawfish pasta...Racing Beat makes things REALLY easy to install. Total install time was probably 1/2 hour, max. Oh, I have the Ram Air installed, so I didn't need to remove front bumper).

Butt dyno says no difference.

Attached are some pics for fun. First pic just shows how big the air filter and horn are. That's an LG6100 cellphone, for size comparison.

The other are the REVi installed. Funny thing, I think it will be easier to remove the K&N in the REVi than it is to remove the stock air filter. I didn't have to muscle any parts at all. Everything fit perfectly. I'm pretty amazed.

/edit: With regards to cooking, yes, I did wash my hands after eveyrtime I touched a car part. I went through more fast orange tonight than I ever had.

Nicely done! I know you had to do a lil reving after... Did you reset the ecu so it can learn the diff air flow? Any dips in the power while driving?

New Wheels!!!

Hey all,

I got an incridible deal on some 18's on eBay. Couldn't resist. Here they are:

Unfortuatly, PePBoys managed to scratch one of them up pretty bad...so they may be buying me another set..

What Ya Think?

Yes, reset the ECU. Yes, had a little fun after I install the REVi. I didn't notice any dips in power.

I was thinking about buying it too... but if its only for sound then ill stay with the factory but im sure the rp supercat will make my car roar!

On that note, im going to the belle rose raceway tonight with some friends at 7 to run the quartermile. Hope my car breaks into the 14's at least. I'll have recordings but showing them will depend on the times I run.
