Yeah I just picked up my 8... its a '05 Ti grey.

I live in slidell and I haven't seen many 8's in the area which is one of my reasons in buying one...

Anyone else around this area?

I'm in Slidell as well. '04 Red here....don't know for how long though. I have to take it to the dealer tomorrow for a normal oil change/maintenance (60k miles) I have had two oil leaks fixed on it, both under warrenty. One was from the oil pan and the last was the oil metering pump itself. Recently I have noticed a nice oil stain in the garage. I'm hoping it will be something simple.... The metering pump was fixed about 6 months ago or so....
I have also noticed that the car is having a little trouble starting too dunno what it could be....
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed....

 

Well....it's the f'ing oil metering pump again.... Now I don't know what to do. They replaced it about 5-6 months ago for me. Thing is, is was replaced for me out of warranty (by about 1500 miles) I'm just hoping they will replace it again since it was it replaced only 5 months ago or so....
I don't want to be a dick to them at the dealership since they were really cool and did the job for me in the first place out of warranty, but should the part carry some kind of warranty?
