New Orleans and Baton Rouge
that depends how worn out the old tires are. If they are worn but still usable, i'd say go for them. But if they are just worn to almost nothing then use the new tires, they should be fine.
i mean i'll be running down the track on a set of dunlop runflats, so noone will get worse traction than me...lmao

Are you referring to me? If so, I've just got the itch to get the car out on the track. I'm really digging the way it's running, I'm very happy with it, I don't think I need to buy anything extra to get out on the track (like tires and rims), and I challenged Monique to a race on the phone the other day.
And it just sounds like fun. I'm not into street racing. I'd rather do something a little more controlled.

Well, my car should get some paint in the next 4 weeks. As many of you know, the front cap suffers from "rock chip pit" disease. BB is very suceptible to this disease. Little white spots appear on the front cap. Some claim it is from travelling at high speeds, but I think it's from stuff being kicked up from the roads at 50MPH.
So I'm doing a favor for a friend who owns a body shop and he was going into different paint schemes. Me? I'm just, paint the front end, throw a little extra clear on there so we can water sand the crap out when I get chips, and I'll be fine.
He wants to put a coar of black with a light coat of pearl, then clear. He said in the dark, at night, the pearl shows through in the angles of the car.
I, personally, am against this. I love the way BB shows up during the day and at night. And I'm not sure about taking the time off to paint the whole car.
What do you guys think?
Oh...and I didn't get a PC DA buffer and the Menzerna products for nothing. But I guess the might work on this translucent scheme also. I just don't want to make the car too obviously modded. I think when I get the exhaust on it will be enough. I'd rather have something that looks bone stock and kick kick butt.

i saw a nice blue rx8 in Kenner today at my local walmart, and he/she left me a note reminding me of this place. im the guy with the blue rx8 with 117000 miles on it. i finally got the engine problem fixed. Paretti gave me a brand new engine and coils and plugs for no charge!
ok guys i have a problem with my warranty i have an intake on the car and the dealeer wont warranty the blown motor and they are saying that the intake sucked up enough dirt and sand to sand blast the motor which i think is a load of **** but any one know of any loop holes
I'm going to stick with the BB. I don't really like the idea of the pearl black. Too ricy.
guidge: I thought RXH8TED was going to talk to Paretti for you? First thing you need to do is call another dealer and see if they will warranty it.
You should also prove to them that the MS intake is the same one as the AEM, especially the filter. That's the main part. As long as the K&N filter in the AEM intake has near the same specs as the factory filter, they should warranty it.
