I can help you w/that...

Register, even if you only "think" you're gonna go. You're name has to be on the list to enter the base. The surface at BC is black top.

Close, I swept ALLOT of concrete at Bell Chase. The big patches by the lake are Asphalt and fairly rough. Even a stiffly sprung RX-8 will have no problem however.
I will be teaching at the school Low power rear wheel drive cars. Yes the RX-8 is in that group. Since I also drive my wife's car at Autocrosses I can help allot.

Well, I'll start off... I would say the start time for my spring install was 6:00pm? Finally I decided to go outside and put in the TEIN S TECH springs. The front was a BI*C* to take off. With the help of 3 people, we completed it in 6 hours.... Wow... what fun. DEFINITELY worth it. So far so good. It drives like a champ and the drop is beautiful. I'll get some pix up 2morrow whenever I clean the car. Did it just in time for the lakefront meet.

Thats funny! I just installed H techs on the front of mine. 2 hours and I stoppped twice cause of rain. So it probably took me an hour and a half from star to finish. It was rough cause of my compressor running when I used my impact gun. And no,I didnt make all of this noise outside......... ok, maybe some. But I closed the garage door when I was compressing the springs. I had to, when i did the first side, I was compressing the springs with a wrench. It took way too long. So I pulled out da air tools. Hell yeah! Half the time and no police at my door!

Good morning insomniacs!

I was thinking of lowering mine also. But I'm just so unsure, well with the Koni's which have dropped me a little and the "big wheels" im the rear and and and the NOLA potholes ~shrug~ casanova, I'll wait for more feedback from you, seems our set up is similar.

^ Yes- I got your voice mail! You are sooooo lucky I didn't get that when I was in Metairie. Or before bed for that matter bc I'd have whipped your a** in the Z or the 8. As a matter of fact, just for that "girl" comment I wanna take you out on a bicycle bucko!

Was it recommended to cut the bump stop for the h techs? Cuz for the s tech I had to cut off an inch. I'm eventually gonna be getting 275's for the rear too sooo... put the rears on rodger and tell us how it goes!

After really getting under the car, I wanted to change everything out... Sway's, shocks, cat, rims, flywheel, clutch...Etc. The rears aren't hard at all. See ya'll at the lake.

Or better yet anybody has time today to meet to do a group car wash/detail?

I drove around alot today.(like I normally do) and no bump stop problems. It is a little bouncier but not in a bad way. It looks alot better now. Before it looked like It was squatting in the rear. My camera batteries are dead, but I do have old pics.
