I brought my 8 back to the shop today. .. It's just like I thought they mounted the exhaust to low and welded every freaking thing on the exhaust. So now on my next day off I have to go back so they can do my exhaust right.

 

I'll be at scraping the coast! Is anyone else going?

Had fun at scraping even though we only stayed a little while before going to Pensacola for the weekend. BTW, I drove the 8 and she performed fined, except my fuel pump started to die. Just my luck....

 

Mine is still in the shop. Are we at 2 months yet?

Alrite...supposedly I get the car back tomorrow so I can bring it to Ray Brandt to replace the rear shocks. Hopefully Ray Brandt can get to it quickly. We are 6 days shy of 2 months. SMH

 

I know how you feel homie. My 8 was in the shop for two months before I got it back. But ray braynt is slow and expensive. Expect to break your two month point

 

Yeah I went out to scrapin, did you see the skyline vspec? Drove my 8 about 70-80mph the whole way my only issues was tires need balancing

 

Yeah, so this is pretty f'ing LOOOOOOL! I get this morning from Paretti's automated system. It says my car is ready to be picked up. WTF? hahahahahaha

In other news, shortly before 5 this evening, Fremin called me to let me know the car is done. So tomorrow morning I get to pick it up and bring it to Ray Brandt to FINALLY get the rear shocks replaced.

I agree, Billy. I'm gonna make that 2 month mark.

 

We were doing slightly faster.... hehehe. Didn't think the cruise control worked in the triple digit range, but it does. Managed to get 19mpg fully loaded with excessive speeds. Burned a good bit of oil too, almost 1.5qts in 500miles. It was a fun trip and the beach there is awesome compared to ours. Can't wait to go back.

I pushed it alil on the way their. But I have to be careful when I push it, if I get another ticket they'll take my license. .......

I but some led strips under the headlights and hooked em up to a automatic drl switch

 

Drift event august 18th @nolamotorsports... We should meet their. I not sure if I'm gonna be drifting, my cars been acting alil funny since the accident. I still get alil vibration from the exhaust and it died a couple times when I braked alil hard. Ideas anyone???
