Hey everyone i resently bought an 09 blue r3 and i was at the lake front meet last sunday. I was surprised to only see one other rx8 at the event. Is anyone going to the car meet in baton rouge next weekend?

 

I wanted to go but my cars been in the shop thanx to a dumbass in a 370z. The rental company has me in a Camry and I didn't want to show in that. I'm hoping my cars ready for.the memorial day drift. We should all meet then, you know we can claim a spot and front like we are An active club lol

Well, my 8 is in the shop. The rear end shocks went out, so I brought it in on tuesday to get fixed. Well, they cannot overnight shocks, and the tech said it was able to be driven, so I gave my rental back. Thursday the shocks come in, but the service dept., is backlogged, so they say keep the car until monday. Last night I pulled into the driveway and the driver's side A arm cracked. It was towed to the dealership this morning and I am very pissed, but at the same time very happy because if the A arm was faulty, thank god that **** didn't happen on the highway. I'm also ambivalently pissed because I think the blown out rear suspension caused the stress on the front suspension which caused the A arm to break. Either way, FML. But I am in a Lincoln MK Z, which is pretty fun cuz everything is run by buttons and is fun. Wouldn't want to own one because there is a shitload of stuff that can break.

Oh well...
