its not that I can't add to the order, but I'd just rather not. I've orderd 34 units, and if I add just a few more, that could push our ship date back even farther, and that's unfair to those that got in early.

I'll probably make the wire on Wednesday. The bank is holding ~$500 from the money order deposits I made since I've opened another account to keep all this seperate from my personal funds. They will clear into my acct tomorrow.

I am definitely in too. I was going to wait for Stage 2 to come out but it seems that more investigation needs to be done by Maurice and the gang to finalize the specs.

im actually working on a php script that will take alot of the emailing and posting out of the process.

 

What process? I love all of the emails I currently get.. Maybe I am in the minority... or are you not talking about this site....

 

you all may love them, but it's just a pain in the *** for me to have to poll the members to gather interest, make a confirmation, collect shipping info, send out payment info...

i could have all the information entered on a php form and the payment info provided automatically. buyers could check the status of their order without having to ask and without clogging this forum up with traffic

 

He's not talking about the RX-8 forum website.

He's referring to the process of of emailing everyone about thier orders regarding the group buy, as it's allot of email, organizing, etc.

Again, this has nothing to do with the emails you receive on this RX8Club website as a whole.

That's a great idea !
It seems to me that you really like to manage GB and I'm sure many of us appreciate your engagement.
In fact, I really think that's the way this kind of GB should work in the future; the communication between all members will be more efficient and fewer posts will be necessary (hopefully)
