You got him! What do I have to do?
Send cheque? PayPal? Let me know, my tax refund came in and I told CZ that I'd order when it did!

Well according to epitrochoid he had everyone he needed,he made the order at least 1 to 2 weeks before we gave the money so that leaves us waiting roughly another 2 to 3 weeks from what he said. He never mention he was short on people,so iam still going by what he says i should see my unit in 2 to 3 weeks.if things have changed were we need to wait another 5 weeks iam out and expect a refund.

What's up with this last buyer? I hope this doesn't compromise our order.

the buyer has been found.

and if you read my previous posts, you'll see that this has no bearing on when our order is shipped. i have up until 2 weeks before shipment to make payment.

Ok, I've got the 34th payment, finally :P

Check the list one last time to 1) make sure you're on it! and 2) to verify your stage. If the stage listed is wrong, just let me know, as it can be changed.

For those interested in stage 2, be advised that stage 2 is likely going to go under redevelopment, so there could be a delay on it. It's software redevelopment, so any unit can be updated to newer stage 2 spec.

Will the stage 2 delays result in delayed shipment for those that ordered stage 1?

No.

In fact, I'm advising all stage 2 buyers to go ahead with stage 1 for now, and then if stage 2.1(my working title for it anyway :P) is finished before out ship date, I'll have them flash that on before they send it.

Oops I did it again.
Well, I don't want to make yet another post, but...
first off; thanks for putting together this group buy! I know what a pain it can be trying to organize this sort of thing. Could you let me know when you are going to start the next one? I'm sure that the Rocky Mountain Club can throw some more names and orders in there...
Thanks again!

Epitrochoid,

Could just clarify the expected delivery time. I do know that this can be a little dicey with CZ. But when do you think these will be shipping to you?

Thanks again for your efforts.

When I placed the order, I was told 3-5 weeks, so that puts us in the middle of next month.

But, my first GB's ship date has been pushed back 23454323 times, and we're sitting at about 10 weeks right now. Dicey is right...

I don't mean for this to come across the wrong way, but I know some of you are weary about extended waiting time for this unit. If the wait becomes too long for you, you are allowed to transfer your position to someone else. This means, since they wont have to wait as long as everyone else on the board, you can charge a bit of a premium. Or if you decide to take another tuning route (racing beat, etc) you can bite the $520 until the unit comes in and then sell it for a much higher price to someone that can have it shipped that same day.

I had a guy on my first GB that did this, since he sold his car, and I believe he picked up about $50 profit by selling his spot. I'm not suggesting everyone go and do this, but the option is available if you change your mind, and trust me, the buyers are definately out there.

Thanks for the update epitrochoid.

Even though you don't have to send payment to CZ right away, it would make us all feel better if you could as soon as possible, so that CZ can post that the monies have been received.

I think allot of us are itching to get a hold of our units, and yeah, the delay (which is to be expected) still sucks... i.e. when a man has paid and has to sit and wait in anticipation for the goods...

It's kinda like that old girlfriend who teased you to no end, but when she did finally put out, it was worth the wait.

Hopefully, that was a good analogy

Is group buy #2 locked right now for those of us interested in joining? I'll sign up for #3 if this is the case. If there is a third.

Thankx!

Qualifier... I'm not trying to be a pain... fact is you are holding quite a bit of our collective cash.

Today (4/22), we are at 3 weeks after the order was placed. Taking the 5 week (worst case) timeline, payment must be made today in order to meet the 2 weeks before shipment deadline. Shipment of units to you would then occur around 5/6. Assuming a week to get to you and then a week to get the units out to all of us, we should receive our units around 5/20.

Based on the information given to-date, this is my expectation. Is this realistic? Are there any updates?

Epitrochoid,

Have the ECU's been delivered from the first GB. I would think that would be some indication of whether CZ is getting any closer to his promised delivery times.

Epitrochoid,

I'd like to say thanks also for putting the GB together. I'm sure it's a major hassle to put something like this together - especially for little or no return - so kudos to you. But I'm sure you can understand how people get antsy (sp?) when they have 5+ bills floating out there, so any and all updates you give are well appreciated.
