I have yahoo and when I got the email it showed up in my bulk spam email. Alot of people dont read that they just empty it. I dont know what all emails have that feature where you can block spam, but thats what might have happened. Cant wait to get this!!!

Three questions:

1. Is the due date Friday (April 2) or April 3 (Saturday)? The original email said Friday, April 3.

2. Did the vouch list from the first buy ever get posted? Epitrochoid posted on 3/3 that there would be one.

3. Has the order been placed? There have been several posts that it's going to happen "tomorrow" or "soon", but I have yet to see a post on CZ's GB thread or one here saying it is in.

I'm not trying to be rude... just careful. We're talking some significant coinage here.

As for the posts to "hurry up", please refer to epitrochoid's original post that those paying via Paypal can do it last day. Plus, Friday is payday.

Alright guys here's the deal, I'll try and answer everyone.

1. The due date is Friday, April 2nd, but due to slow communication with Maurice, and the fact I still have people asking to get in, I'm going to keep it open for the rest of the weekend. If you're paying by paypal, please pay ASAP as it takes 2-3 business days for the funds to clear into my account.

2. There is no vouch list as of yet, and there likely wont be one until a week or so after payment deadline. The buyer's havent recieved the units, because I don't have them yet. We're all aware of the shipping delays, every customer of his expierences them. Maurice has pushed the ship date for the first GB back several times, right now we're at 7 weeks since I made the wire to him. Stage 1.1 development took place completely between then and now, so hopefully we wont expierence the same delays this time around. Last I heard from him, they we're going to be shipped this week, but I contacted him today about this order and have yet to hear back from him.

3. I CANNOT place the order until I am sure beyond a doubt that I will have all that money in my hand come time to make the wire. Right now, I have 11 people confirmed that have not made payment. A handful of them have said payment is in the mail, and that's ok. The rest have said nothing. Just keep in mind that I don't have the excess capital laying around to place an order larger than what I've been paid for. I'm just a guy doing this out of kindness to the members of this board.

I understand that I promised a vouch list, and I do not have one. If you'd like to leave the GB, I understand. It hasn't been a problem for most however.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

I guess I could understand all the changes to plan if this was the first buy. Given that it is the second, I'm confused. Can you please explain to all of us specific reasons (e.g., new info) that have caused you to change the terms of this buy? (e.g., Paypal timing, "CANNOT place" vs. no more buyers after order is placed (3/23))

Also, do you still expect turn-around in 4 weeks as previously stated or is it 8 weeks as many are currently experiencing?

The reason for most of these changes has been from the fact the some guys from the rocky mountain RX-8 club have come on board with us. Yes, this will benefit us, as it's inevitable that even after confirming some are liable to flake out. Since I've set the quantity to at least 25, if we only have 24, I'm going to have to make serious changes to the buy, including raising the price. That's my main concern, especially since so many of the non-payers have not contacted me. It's just a safety net that will keep me from having to find more buyers last minute or possibly cancel the GB and refund the money.

The order has not been turned in because I can't get ahold of Maurice. Even so, some people are still on the fence, like you guys, and I can't very well order you units and then have you decide you're not interested. Do you understand? Most people are fine and have either paid, told me it's on the way, or told me they were no longer interested. It's easier that way as I can look at my list and say, OK I have X number of people that have paid.

Unfortunately the turn around will about the same as what everyone else is expierencing. I really don't think Maurice has the excess capacity to cover an order of this size, so it's going to have to go as normal production.

Check back this afternoon, I'll call Maurice today until his phone explodes. Looking at my list now, I have 11 that haven't paid. I'm going to place the order for 30 units, even though I have 31 confirmed. If need be I'll sacrifice my own unit.

This has likely been a pain in the *** for Brian, and I do remember seeing Canzoomer's post (for the first group buy) that payment had been received.

Brian also stated that Canzoomer would do the same this time around, and like some of you, I was also a little hesitant to send 5 bills to someone I didn't know as well.

You have to make your own decisions, and after Brian answered my email, I was ok with going ahead on this.

No big sell job, just info on the issues he faces which I think he has tried to communicate to everyone.

Brian was very clear that he doesn't have the 13 or so thousand dollars to place the order, this is why he wanted payment ahead of time.

It does take paypal a few days to transfer money into one's bank account.

No one was trying to bother anyone with hurry up messages, but really, more so a reminder that the deadline was getting close. Allot of people are also really excited about getting this, so the enthusiasm among most people is something to note as well.

Brian also made it clear, he couldn't wire the money until he had the cash.

Some of you guys do need to chill out a little, and while your points are valid, you should take them up with Brian personally.

It's a free country, do what you want.

I'm just kinda sticking up for him, as I can only imagine the pain this has been, and if it were me, I'd only do it once, and say to heck with the problems and headaches of organizing such a thing.

Most of us are excited and greatful that Brian has taken this on (twice) and I have yet to hear of anyone make any kind of claim that would lead me to believe that there was any kind of risk in going ahead with this.

With that, I'll get off my soapbox.

Regards,
Hskr8

Yes epitrochoid, I realy appreciate what you done so far for this (those) GB.
If some people are not confortable with GB, they can order directely (and pay more). I understand it's not so easy to organize a project like this and I'm very happy that some people like you be devoted for the gain of all. Keep continue, you have my support.
