hey epitrochoid, I figure you are already, but hoping you are working with Canzoomer on the timing of this GB, so as to not flood those guys with orders that will take more than a few weeks to fulfill. (i.e. GB#1 going on as well as other orders)
If you're on the list, (and haven't done so) please confirm to epitrochoid.
I'm so stoked about getting a stage 1
This mod is gonna be so cool to have this summer!

Thanks for the info. I am quite disappointed that the horsepower at the wheels is not more (169). That makes getting this mod that more substantial. Epitrochoid, I am definitely in. Let me know when you will be closing this out. Thanks
By the way, does anyone know what the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times would be with this mod on a stock rx8?

OK, if this GB is still open count me in for a Stage I kit. I was hoping to get the "L" flash done to my car before getting it, but I don't know when/if I'll get it done.

I got back to you guys that PMed me.
I had over 30 inquiries, but as always, people are bound to flake, and that's why I ask for the confirmation. I have 22 confirmations now. 3 MORE TO GO!!!
As far as the order goes, it really doesnt make a different how large the order is. However, I am able to place the order in queue with Maurice a week or two before it's time for me to pay him. I will place the order in queue once I have all confirmations.

I'm thinking it will likely average in the low 14's and for a few, maybe the high 13's depending on your car, and how hard you drive/launch it.
Normally, the stock car seems to be averaging from mid to high 14's and some very low 15's, so this is just speculation based upon things I have read.

Also, Canzoomer notes that these runs were done under less than ideal situations and so he says the difference between the runs is what should be looked at, rather than the actual times.
In the 3rd graph, he gets better than a full second reduction in 0-60 time.
Improved gas mileage is also evident with the stage 1.
Hope this helps,
Hskr8

I believe the dyno tests for the Stage 1 that I've seen have averaged about 20-25 rwhp, which would be somwhere around 30 hp at the crank. Adding a catback exhaust should add anywhere from 10-15 more chp I believe. I think Stage II is more like 40 rwhp gain.

Epitrochoid, did you count me in as confirmed? If not, go ahead and add me in. I'm just trying to decide if I want to get it for the "L" flash or not.

Regardless of what the actual output is, it's high enough to make this the most sought after mod for the money.
You can do exhaust, which might gain you a little, but from the names that I trust, they say the stock exaust is actually pretty good, and so you might gain 5+ hp with a borla or other variant, but for the money, the stage1 is by far the best bang for the buck.
Just read what people post and I know there is allot out there, but somewhere in the middle, you should be able to draw your own conclusions.
HTH,
Hskr8
PS. I think the idea here for most, is to get the car back it's lost horsepower, and even then some. Allot of people, (including myself) have noticed better performance with the L reflash... I would say 3% gain maybe?
So even if this detracts from what the mod originally added, (read the threads)
it's sometimes hard to compare apples to oranges etc.
Bottom line in my analysis, the car gains it's hp back, and then some, and you get better mpg, and from others posts, those that tested this mod, ran neck to neck with their friends 350Z's, only noting that during low rpm pull the Z won, but higher rpm the 8 would catch up, and in the turns, the 8 easily went much faster.

It says 0 for my name, what does that mean? I thought I sent you a confirmation that I'm in and willing to make payment as soon as it is requested.
Thanks.
