The wire's been made and Maurice has it. I'm waiting for him to post and give a better estimate for the #2 GB units when he confirms that payment has been made.

Thanks, but I would like a response from our GB coordinator. From where I stand, CZ has not received the money. I would like to be told when things have happened rather than assume they have happened unless we are told otherwise.

 

Exactly. I don't mind dropping 5 bills, and don't mind waiting. Having purchased from CZ before, I know that it does take a little time. I also know how tough it is to organize anything of this nature, and I'm sure that epitrochoid is on top of it. If there is anything new, I'm sure he'll relay it to us. If I don't hear anything in a few weeks, maybe - maybe I'll contact him to ask what's happening. Otherwise, a little patience goes a very long way.

 

hey guys...the wire has been made, he has the money (or at least I know I don't have it!). i called him today, but it seemed to be too late and they had closed, so I expect to hear from him tomorrow.

I know allot of us are ancy to get their goods, and it's on CZ to get the production going and orders fulfilled, but I think allot of people would feel better if we could hit certain "mile-markers", and proof of the wire would help cross that marker for many out there since this is a large group.

did anyone try to contact canzoomer today ,i was but he said in a previous thread that he does not want peolple calling him from group buys its the responsibility of the one who set up the group buy to call .brian called him but he did not give him an update.how much longer are we looking at if any

 

the wire confirmation is Maurice's responsibility, so if you call him and he gives you **** just let him know that I've asked him 4 times to do it. aside from that, there's no other way I can confirm the order aside from scanning and posting the wire receipt which contains private information concerning my bank accounts.

 

Please scan the wire receipt, edit out the sensitive information (using Paint), and post it here. Thank you.

Still were looking for over a month for shipping i garantee that, he said 3 + that does not sound good.according to brian he let him know about this order 2 weeks before we even made payments iam very dissappointed.

Also, I've seen a post where he states they are reworking the units just a little to do better with L & M flashes, and I think we all knew this would take a little while.

I figure we should have our units sometime in June, so even though it's tough, we just need a little patience.

 

Damn Canadians. This is another country we need to annex. I bet the shipping would be alot faster than.

 

I will reiterate the fact that I cannot and will not issue refunds. Why? Because I would have to write a check out of my personal funds to anyone and everyone that decided they're no longer interested. When I made the wire, your collective money was sent to Maurice. He has it, there's no getting it back. If you're tired of waiting, you're free to sell your spot to someone else and I've provided details on that earlier in the thread. That's the closest I can get you to a true refund, but you will have to take care of that on your own. I've done my time finding all 33 of you guys.

This situation is not unique to this group buy. Read in CZ's forum. The fact of the matter is, there is a waiting period for these units. Now, I could have held on to your money until the day before they were ready to ship, but the terms were set that the wire would me made once all the funds had cleared to my account.

I apologize if this seems harsh, but I carefully set the terms of this GB for a reason. If it was an extinuating circumstance, I'd be more understanding, but if I issue one refund to someone that's changed his mind, I have to issue it to everyone that wants one. Then I'm out $16,534 and I have 33 Stage 1 units collecting dust. I hope you understand my position.

 

As one who was lucky enough to buy someone else's spot all I can say is that your position is quite realistic, epitrochoid.
When you buy a custom-made product from a small outfit you often have to wait to get it. Hey, folks who are buying direct (and paying more!) are having to wait too. And let's not bad-mouth Canada; it's a lovely country and even the hookers are polite (no sh*t!).
