Back from the Nissan/Infiniti dealer...
I'm still debating whatever to take Mazda's buyback or not... so I went to the Nissan/Infiniti dealer to test drive the Infiniti G35C and the 350Z
The saleman was surprise when he saw my car... anyway, I test drove both cars; ouch... I must admit that the Z is a brute! The sound... the torque... the NOISE Seems fast... but after testing it on some of my "check point", it isn't that must faster.. different feel, but not that must.
The G35C is a "civilized" Z... just as fast, smoother and less noise. Well, anyway, when I left, I took the same roads, didn't have the feeling of going fast... but surprise, my "trap" speed was about the same:D In the curves, the 8 was a lot smoother and felt more at ease:p
Coming back home, I could only feel the smoothness, lightness and free spirit of my 8.
If only I can get a better milleage than 13mpg...
You know how we are "us" guys... when we love someone... we sometimes have trouble saying "I love you"...
Ok, I'm gone a say it: "I love you my 8":D ...but you're so expensive to run...

Yes... I drove both cars one after the other; the first one was the 350Z, a demo car; I drove it hard, really hard, even drifting it in a corner Once in the parking lot the saleman said "That the kind of road test I like"
But he then asked me to take it a little bit easier with the G35C since it was brand new with only 7km on the odometer!
Anyway, those cars aren't for me... huummm... I still have some thinking to do... but my 8 sure gain some points!

I love my 8, but I drove a g35 again sunday (on the way to the phillies game) and it is sweet, gobs of power. On the other hand, it still does not exicte me as much as the mazda, perhaps it is too refined for a sports car?
