Like you said. Premium things come with premium price. That's a good point.
I'm not sure if everyone is familiar with ECUTEK.

It's a ECU Performance Reflashing service done on some cars like STi or EVO.
Some shop in Sunway charge up to RM4k. This is done by local guys also.

If you put it in comparison, RE-A doesn't look so expensive.

If you put into comparison in Singapore is SGD1250 (RM2837 @ 2.27), and in Malaysia is RM2950, it's only a little bit higher. In Malaysia sure a little bit more expensive since we don't have that many RX8 here to do.
You better don't blame me for the 'price'....... There wasn't enuff enthusiastic owners here to pay that price........

Guys, RE demands good payment...... In fact they won't even consider coming down if not because of the 100k RX7...... So this might be your only chance to have your remap in KL...... Just like Jai says, don't forget the hassle and petrol you paid to get to SG..... You pay what you get.....

However.... during one of my high speed runs in my Rx7.... I lost the complete passengerside brake duct + wheel well plastic covers...... wangan,

How long does the remap takes since I would expect many of us going for it? Are you going to split it up to different session or something?

Benny, I don't need 40 cars. Any number of cars also can.
Just that if we got more than 20, it's cheaper for you guys.

Even if we only have 1 car doing remap, RE will also be coming because of the FD3S. However, base on the response this trip, I think if RE see only a few cars, they probably won't waste time coming in future.

The remap is very fast only.
Base on current response, there might not be too many of us.
So depending on the number of people we will plan how to do it whether it's split session or something.

But it will be first come first serve so those who pay the deposit to book first will be able to get their car done first unless they choose to do later.

To be fair, this is only half true.
KS remap at RM1700 is only half the things that RE Map is offering.

For the RE Map you are also getting the latest Mazda updates.
There's no way for us to get those here since all of our cars are parallel imported.

100,000 yen for all of above (Wangan's package)
50,400 yen for speed cut and fans setting only

The irony of this is I remember many members were asking if we can get RE to come. So here we are and....

Anyway, to make this look a bit better here's how it is.
If using interest free installment and if we can get more than 20 cars, this is the number.

RM258.13 x 12 months. or RM131.52 x 24 months. or even RM89.32 x 36 months.

Any chances of 0% installment using HSBC, Maybank, RHB or Standard Chartered?

Repayment over 12 months interest free via HSBC VISA sounds very tempting.....But, currently only via Ambank etc...... Hmmmmm...... Lemme see..... Maybe go apply for Ambank card.....hahahaha..........
