UPDATE

Hi All ,

I have now added, details of meet-up point and destination to the original post on this thread ... Tomorrow evening, all attending will receive a map to the meet up point (thanks Spiderbrigi), for there reference. My number will be available, on request.

Please note the new meet-up point is less than 5mintues from the original meet-up point, that was changed due to the easter show and road closures ...Although it is more than adequate, for us and this cruise . As I personally checked it out, when it was handling a big cycling event parking, over the w'end . We will be travelling, pretty much most of the away along homebush bay drive, all the way up to Palm Beach, from the meet point.

With 20 days to go, 18 members confirmed and a Resident cruise Photographer attending, would you want to miss out on this great day ...Please add your name to this thread if you will be attending, that if you haven't already, and stay tuned for any updates.

If anyone requires a map, to the exact location of the meet-up point as an extra guide, please pm me your email address.... As I attempted to send them to all attendees, on here and the au. forum(via pm), but i wasn't able to attach it ...Anyway just ask, and you shall receive .

14 days left and counting, 20 members comfirmed(= 20 RX8's) and of course our resident cruise photographer(EXCENTRIK) to capture the event ... I have also managed to track down, our other Awsum resident cruise photgrapher (TOMMO). Who will let me know at a later date, if he can attend also, although it looks very promising...And with him having attended other cruises in the past, he knows full well what he is for , so he's doin his very best to change his plans ...In saying that, theres no doubting Excentrik skills or talents , but the last time these two came together(record cruise), the photos from both members were truely amazing ...So fingers crossed, as they both posses extreme talents ...

Its looking like one hell of a day members, so please add your name to the ever growing list, if you will be attending.

Thanks for the PM Zoomby, ive been meaning to get along to a cruise for awhile now. Unfortunately I am rostered to work that saturday, but i may be able to pull a few strings and get it changed, ill have to see. Although I do still have some damage to my baby from where some jerk decided to hit and run in a carpark, im a little embarrassed about taking it along with everyone elses beautiful cars.
As long as everybody promises not to make fun of her battle damage, ill try my hardest to make it. Just kidding, Im not that shallow.......(its a speed dent anyway, ive gained atleast 10-15rwkw!!!)
So, throw me on the list, and ill hopefully meet everyone in the flesh for the first time.

Zoomby I can't make it, unfortunately due to a mix-up with rosters I have had my shift changed. I'm now working Friday & Saturday Nights, so will need to spend the day sleeping.

I will endeavour to get on a cruise sometime soon though.

Thats at shame Steve and XLR83N , hope both of you can make the next one...There will be plenty of piks of the day, so it will be pretty well covered , so keep an eye out.


Ok peoples 1 day left , the weathers looking good for this cruise and I can't wait ...A few general reminders now as always ...Please don't forget to have your fuel tanks filled, as we won't be stopping along the way, and check oil levels too of course.... Also pls don't forget your camera's as there will be great photo opportunites throughtout the day and also bring CB's if you have one(il be w/out, as mines not working, but feel free to bring yours)...

Also a last friendly reminder, to try and not attract any unwanted attention eg burnouts/racing etc(men in Blue), as we will have enough attention on our own anyway thats 4 sure . We will be travelling in a big group so, please obey the road rules, and also be courteous with room given to fellow members along the way... Because no matter how good our brakes are, it only takes a split second for an accident to occur...

Ok enough of the stuff you guys already should/already know hehe....Look forward to seeing you all there, and the count down is on .

PS. I will have printed some maps of our exit route from the meet-up point onto Homebush Bay drive only, but once on this road we will follow up all the way up up to when it changes to the end of Mona Vale Rd, and then take a Left onto Pittwater Rd all the way up to Palm Beach. If anyone wants a map, ask me tomorrow...

Bad news, im sorry but i am a last minute withdrawal. Unfortunately my car started making a loud knocking noise under load, and a really rough idle 2 days ago. i changed out the coils 2 weeks ago so i knew it wasnt that, but believe the problem to be the damn engine mounts. I cant get into the dealer until late next week, so im leaving her garaged until then. Sorry Zoomby, i know u went to alot of effort and i was really looking forward to it. Pretty shitty timing, but i guess u cant help these things.
Hope everyone has a great time and takes heaps of photos.
