Hi All Members

As mentioned in my recent new 8's thread, I use to organise the NSW Cruise's for both this and the au. forum(with VR8)...And now im back, with a new 8 and will start organising the NSW RX8 Cruises's once again ...

For those of you who do remember the cruises I have organised , can guarantee you it loads of fun and a great day for you and your 8. Its your chance to take your 8 out, and enjoy it with fellow members and there 8's. There are also lotz of photo opportunities and a chance to meet up with members and there new/different mods that they have...And now this is the first instalment in many cruise's to come , in the year of 2008...

Meet-up Point
- Meet at Newington Armoury Wharf Carpark, Jaimeson Street off Holker Street @11am, for meet and greet and photo's. Entry to this meet-up point, can be from either Silverwater or Homebush.
Maps can viewed on whereis.com.au , by typing in Jaimeson St Newington.
(Please note New meet-up point due to easter show/road closures, and is less than 5mins, from original meet up point)

Departure from Meet-up Point
- Depart @11:30am to allow time for any1 thats a tad late n piks

Arrival @ Destination Palm Beach
- Approx.12:30pm-1pm lunch & photo's
Governor Phillip Park, off Beach Road Palm Beach and rite next to Palm Beach Golf Course.

- Head back to Sydney in the RX8 convoy, or when ur ready.

Please add you name to this thread if you will be attending, so that I can update attendees accordingly.

I will be sending PM's in the next coming days, to all NSW members to come along for the ride and have a great day(although not limited to NSW RX8 members, only of course). There are also threads on both Websites(inc .au forum), about this cruise(shortly anway). My phone number will also be available to those that request it, if you think you mite need to contact me on the day.

Also this is obviously a cruise where u can have a fun and enjoy your 8, due to the nature of roads/twistys along the way... Although we do not need Fast and Furious driving styles, as I would not want you/your 8/or anyone in a position that could lead to a fatal mistake etc...I say this with all my previous cruises going extremely successfully, and with no incident to report...There's plenty of boys in blue out there, now that we have hoon laws ...So just a friendly warning, but i trust you will enjoy the day and driving ur 8.

Ps: bring your own lunch, or there is a fish and chip/burger shop @Palm Beach, its up to you. And you can bring ur cb's(I need to get mine checked, or a new one lol), if you have them, although not necessary.

Pss: The largest Cruise I organised in the past down to Wollongong, had 27 RX8's , which I think is still a record in Australia .

So hope to see you all there, and let the next of RX8 Cruises instalments begin in 2008 .

Id like to keep this cruise, to an RX8's/Ex RX8's owners(those of u still lurching around ) , if possible...Dont get me wrong I am a big car enthusiast, and have up most respect for people and there car, what eva it be...But All the previous RX8cruises I have organised have been, rx8's and only rx8's which makes for quite a view ...Which Id like to continue, it is a Rx8 club after all hehe ...And all of them have turned out a great day and a successful event .

Gday mate ,I would like to try an keep this to an RX8 cruise only as mentioned ... Ur bro's Evo is a very nice piece of machinery , dont get me wrong plz, and a nice guy at the same time... If the demand continues for other cars, I'll review it at a later date, although maybe he can ride in ur 8 ...It makes it also easier with photos etc, as I am trying to get hold of Xcentrik or Tommy to attend. Who are members on here, although w/out an 8 but with awsum photography skills, for the day . They have been at previous cruises, I have organised.

Hope u understand, and like I said if the demand continues I will review it, but there are other reasons too, for this RX8 only Cruise . Can I add u to the list mate??

It depends for me because its on a Saturday so I'm a maybe for this. But at the same time I really want to because you guys are cruising to my Neighbourhood
Why don't we pass by West Head Rd on the way too?

Hi Mate , Our eta into Palm beach should be around 1230pm-1pm...And im not sure where you goin in Blacktown afterwards, but have just gone onto whereis.com, and it says it takes 58minutes from Palm beach to Blacktown...So its up to u mate, based on that i think u will be ok(but up to u)....

Also just an update for all members, and those attending . Last nite I sent out 110pm's about this cruise to other NSW RX8 members(all the ones, i could find anyway) ... If I did miss you my apologies , although please don't hesistate to add your name to this thread....

As mentioned before, I am also currently trying to contact, a couple of Members, who have previously captured these events, with there awsum photography skills. So that they can attend, this cruise also ...

Keep watching this thread for updates, and please add your name to this thread if you will be attending. Attendees list, has just been updated also .

Will add you to the list, and thats alrite, if you don't want to meet us at the homebush meet-up point, you can always meet us at Palm Beach ... Im not too sure where that road is exactly , although I will be posting exact links to meet-up point and also destination this evening (when i get home) ...

This cruise has been planned, so that it is a very easy for all to follow (as a group, and as much as possible). It is pretty much a direct route to Palm Beach, although encounters lots of twistys and few hairpins ...I have previously organised a cruise to this location and it went extremely well, with a large group. And so I would not really want to deviate, if u know what i mean... In saying that, I will be organising other cruises in the near future, which will be to a different destinations, so fear not hehe (more is on the way too) .

Hi Mate

Very happy to have you onboard, to capture this New RX8 Cruise once again ... Eta into Palm beach should be between 12:30-1pm, so have some lunch + pix's + chat with members and there rides , and then head back...So im Guessing u would be back in Sydney by about 3pm'ish (and maybe even earlier)... I am happy to give u a lift back, on the way home to where eva u need to be, for u to get to ur gig on time ...
