Getting there.

Still, might not be the time to play nuisance neighbour.

We move into the new digs on 5 May. Damn, I hate moving.

Snapped a pic of the red one with the grocery getter Audi in the background.

Actually, I don't think it's an Avant....it's an Allroad Quattro. Sigh......I should have moved.

Yep, that looks like an Allroad to me.

Nice street. Shame about the weirdo walking around taking pictures of the neighbour's cars.

You know we won't rest now until you've snapped some pics of the offending Magna (or preferably some vid so we can hear it).

BTW, I've never liked those Maser's - look a bit too girly for me.

Just been reading some about the new 911 Turbo.

How's this for some numbers: 358kw , 620Nm (between 1950 and 5000rpm - there's also an overboost function which briefly fattens it up to 680Nm because, let's face it, 620Nm is pitiful ), 0-100km/h 3.8secs (claimed), 12.8l/100km (also claimed).

I want one.

If one of them moves into this street....I'm definitely outtahere!

The feelings of automotive inadequacy would be too overpowering

Yeah, but owning two shows a distinct lack of imagination (I know he'd like us to think it shows excess of money, but I'm not buying that )

Bugger talking to your Magna owning mate (just slash his tyres, and call the council about an abandoned car ) ...strike up a discussion with the Maser owner, and shame him into buying something really tasty

He's a really nice guy. I have a lot of time for him. He made a lot of money on the pokies.

He had 250 of them in his hotel

Agreed but I find the styling inside and out too fussy for my taste.

And it's probably the demographic but I only ever see silver haired blokes and over-dressed middle-aged women driving them.

Next time you have a party play that Whitlam's song "Blow up the Pokies" REALLY loud.

Actually, the first solicitor I worked for has made a motza out of owning a few pubs (ahem, sorry, poker machine venues where beer happens to be sold). A licence to print those things.

Was browsing through the Europe forum and found this:

https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/my-n%FCrburgring-8-a-73561/

As you'd imagine, Taka had latched onto it long ago.

Download the guy's video - great vision and sound.

BTW, I reckon the white stripes look really effective against the Ti grey. What do you guys think? (and no - I'm not about to copy him).

Yeah, I liked his posts.

Doesn't take himself too seriously but is obviously a competent driver.

Yep - definitely a track car thing. You'd look a bit boy racer going down to the shops to get the paper.

Still, I like it. I love those night shots too, particularly the first one.

Maybe he's wondering how long that Mazda dick will put up with the racket. Maybe he's got a bet running with his missus!!
If it was me I would slink over there in the dead of night....remove the mufler and leave it on the front door mat with a sign pointing to it which says FIX THIS...if that doesn't work pay a dude to knee cap him and then say please fix the magna;s muffler.....

Nothing much - just retiring from the field and leaving Eric in charge.
