I'll be away for about 10 days from tomorrow and I doubt I'll be able to access a computer [rest of forum breathes sigh of relief :p ].

So anyone PMing me about the Nationals, don't sweat it - I'll respond on my return.

Not that I'm actually being deluged with responses - so far LittleJohn is the only one!!!

So come on, please let me know if you're coming, what you want to see and do at the Nats and the other stuff I've raised in previous posts in this thread and on the RX8Club.com.au site. The event will only be as good as your participation level.

 

Last night I raised the suggestion to my girlfriend about going to Sydney for a week, maybe late Oct somewhere around 22-23 and she was very keen. When I told her about the nationals, not so keen. BUt I did say that we'd tie the visit up by spending the following week visiting her parents and she completely changed. Only hickup is getting the time off with my boss. Should be okay. And then there's the issue of my partner's course which may clash with her exams. Hopefully by end of next week, I'll have a better idea.

So Hymee if you're the QLD organiser, you can put me down as a probably, more than likely, hopefully definately by next week participant.

I can't wait to see the FI RX8. :D

It's not that I can't go down on my own, honestly. It's just that we were planning on going down to Sydney for Xmas and I don't think I can get the time off to do both. So I'm trying to convince (con) her into combining the two. :D

So in saying that, yeh I suppose it comes down to her decision.

Last time I was there we stayed in the resort and it rained everyday.. Absolutely NOTHING to do - they would not even run the 4WD tours.. The place didn't even have room service...
