It was nice cruising with you guys on the way home yesterday. You guys have some nice looking 8's. That GTI looked clean too.
I was the black Evo running in the class with you guys and also on the way home.

you are very welcome. we all had fun yesterday, excepted that i had a cracked brake rotor to begin with and I had to stop running after the second session. what was your best time?

That was really my first time out by myself. Last time I had an instructor and really wasn't allowed by myself. This time it was different though. I ran a best of 1:30 yesterday. I ended my day early as my brakes were holding me back. I'm pretty sure I could have done a lot better in some of those turns too. I'm hoping for at least 1:28's or better next time around.
What about you guys?
I think my buddy ran a 1:23 in another evo too. Fast for sure.
I think it might have been you but you were spitting out some BIG flames on your downshifts? maybe. I thought you were going to melt my bumper. LOL
But seriously nice cars.

I ended up running a best of 1:34.6 each day. I could have gotten it lower at the end of the day Sunday once the track was cooling down, but was unable to get back out due to being a passenger in a rollover (we were both OK). So 1:34.6 will remain my best time both directions. Oh well, it's still a time I'm happy with. It was nice to see all you guys out there. And since someone asked about tire pressure I was running 28 cold (33 hot) in my 245/40/18 RT-615s.

Thanks, that's an awesome clip! Thanks!
It was my friend's first time driving, she just made a mistake but unfortunately did it in the worst possible location. That's the one area of the track you really can't afford an off in due to the infield terrain. She was off line coming into the chicane, tried to correct, slid, and once the slide hit the dirt and the little ditch there, the car rolled. We're both ok, just very sore.
