I just cant believe it thats all, despite the fact that it is barely affecting me anymore (the sky over long beach today is really nice and clear) its just sad to see a catastrophe so close to home

It's crazy how huge the fire is. Here is a Google map of the Santiago fire. I believe it is growing East + North.

We've all been doign the same. Everytime PC, TF, RR & I get together thus far it rains, so we are getting together tonight hoping for some drops

I can't seem to find a news site that shows WHERE the fires are moving towards. Anyone find that yet?
I heard the Santiago fire is moving towards the cleveland national forest and could be heading towards lake elsinore / south Corona. (I have family in that area

My family owns 4 houses in the Temescal Canyon area!!! They're all have gorgeous views and back up to the Cleveland National Forest
I'm leaving work NOW to head over there. Wish me luck...
Riverside County fire officials said today they will be ready for the Santiago Fire if it crosses into the Temescal Canyon area from Orange County this evening.
The arson fire is creeping toward the county line between Corona and Lake Elsinore. The blaze is expected to cross through the Cleveland National Forest within the next six to 18 hours, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
